People are strange creatures. If we are shown price tag with 50% off, we automaticly want to buy, but if cryptocurrencies are 50% down, we sell our. Ofcourse not all of us :P.
I think kind of same situation is with steemit, dtube and other steem powered sites. If people are shown that you could earn money with the same activities they do everyday in facebook, people are sceptical. "So why arent everyone doing it" or "this is too good to be true" are the common thoughts they express.
So what to do. I think that its not wise to say facebook is bad and instagram is pointless. Its much wiser to start teaching the non believers the platforms and sending them links with steemit posts and dtube videos. To slowly get them get use to the future.
