Why is the price of Steem falling?

Perhaps it's because BitCoin is rising?
....................................................................................................................................................................................................

  • The only downside for steem and altcoin investors is that there is a possibility that if btc were about to go on a major run, it could pull funds from other coins.

HOWEVER...if that were the case, wouldn't the market cap of Steem be declining? It doesn't seem to be...it's $1,022,454.094.01 right now.

(ok...I lied about the penny)

Also the volume of Steem has risen in the last couple of hours..to $20 Million..

huh.

Speaking of BitCoin.

BitCoin Cash is doing even better.

Nobody ever knows... one can only guess...
I'm looking at ADA or SmartCash

I really am as confused as anybody on this one. I just know it's gonna rise again.

I hope so..the rent is due pretty soon.

😂😂😂 don't worry... I'm sure you can always offer a future contract

that would be debt.
Never again.

A big amen to that.

I rarely pay attention to the daily, weekly, or even monthly fluctuations in price. IMHO, we are inevitably going much higher. The Steem Blockchain is close to the best in terms of scalability, transfer/transactions/second, and a variety of other reasons that would take up much more than a comment section. Just keep Steeming on my friend. :)

yup

You have to keep an eye on BTC value vs USD value, once Bitcoin is going up it indirectly rises the USD value of other coins although their BTC value have fallen. It one of the things people still get tied up with.... It like the traders who bought at 0.004BTC which was 40USD but sold at 80 USD thinking they made a profit when the BTC value actually drop to 0.002, so they may indirectly profited from USD rise but lost BTC... You also have to put away the USD chart and focus on BTC value, coins doing well usually have a upwards BTC chart while coins just getting by or benefiting from BTC bull run has a falling BTC chart or downward pointing BTC chart

Hodling is the way to go when the prices are down, the market always fluctuates. the trick is not panicking but waiting until the prices rise again.

Unless it was a rhetorical question confidence is apparently waning for steem, but not for Bitcoin.

hmmm...we lost the view count.
wonder if that matters?

I wonder if @ned's remarks about changing the voting structure has anything to do with it?

Were any comments listed below the article? Were they negative? Change, especially risky change, undermines confidence.

I don't recall.

waiting for higher rates , so that I can sell sbd for my marriage arrangements ;)
