Confusion about steemit

I have some confusion about steemit.

I didn't understand that how steemit calculate of SP power between Voting power?
How a curator paid by their curation?

Because Recently i upvote, comments and resteem few post but i didn't get any curation bonus. why? i didn't understand

many whale in this community but why they didn't vote newbie?

Why i can't get reputation in day by day?

Please help me about this
