Half the intention of my post is also to try and send the message that buying and holding STEEM should make sense even if the person is not going to aim at being the next sweetsssj.

We really need more people to get their eyes on STEEM now that we're about to build some real momentum. Sure, many will not want to spend a lot of time on steemit while it is in beta the way many of us do, but if we can at least get them a wallet and make them slightly tied to the system, then when the platform is more mature and capable of replacing the platforms they used before, it's an easier process to get them onboard.

Thats true, everyone says its still in beta like its a half functioning site? I truly believe it works quite well.. of course there is always more features they can add over time but essentially I feel like the platform is quite solid.

i also heard from traders that steem should cost more than ethereum in some month to come
