Will we be able to set up online stores?

I'm curious if there will be (or is) a way to set up an online store for physical products using steem. If steemit seeks to be a monetized social media platform, this seems like an obvious development. Thoughts? Also, Im very new to steem so maybe the answer is obvious. :p

      Ok. This is what i was wondering. I can see how you could independently set something up and accept steem, but a native platform would be awesome. What's the timeline looking like? Or, is there somewhere I can find info on it?

          I already accept steem dollars for real estate on my website but it involves making special arrangements with the buyer. In time, tools will be developed that make selling smaller items automatic and user friendly.
