Question: What are the steem&#x27;s low prices?

I think there are several reasons, one is that whales have the power of steem production that brings as a consequence a centralized molopoly and they in turn put on sale more steem than necessary, so prices go to the ground. very regrettable because I consider that steem can still continue to approve of its benefits

Just my opinion:

Steem has low demand compared to supply. There just is not enough incentive to hold steem long even if there is an ROI and usage for the crypto. Too many cryptos to compete against and a shrinking core steem development team.
Whales are producing a ton of steem through upvotes and active witness but selling steem rather than holding long term. Again supply out weighs demand.
Users are still limited. After all the talk about spreading steemit to more users at the end of the day the steemit platform still lags behind many of the worlds biggest. Facebook, wechat, instagram, and so on have organically grown billions of users. While steemit is still under 10million and very few are active on the platform.

Steem has a low demand compared to the offer. There simply are not enough incentives to keep Steem for a long time, even if there is a return on investment and use for encryption. Too many crypts to compete and a central shrinkage development team.

If you put yourself, this is the future of my future, I do not have a recovery, it is not a distribution in the compilations and this is not necessary in the traffic. , although all this is uncertain.

Hopefully we can see steemit resurface.

We can speculate all we want but we can't really pin it down to any one or two reasons, steem is getting sold at crazy rates to pay for something I don't know other cryptos or fiat who knows? It will continue to devalue until we find better use cases to hold it as well as ways to burn it.

Over time as the inflation decreases we could see this reverse slightly should we last that long

I remember that Steem lowered directly with BTC last year, but this year its not the same as you mentioned above. Bcoz of this decrease many people left Steemit and thefore Steemit has not wholly been known all over the world yet. For example, our Turkish Community is not as active as previous year. Its bleeding. Besides, let Steemit alone, many people don't even know what blockchain and cryptocurrency are. So I think there are some years for Steem and Steemit to be proven. I think worldwide the blockchain/steem is nit famous. Hardly anyone in the Netherlands know about it. Those who tried it left. It is too.difficult to understand, it is hard to find your way, it cost way more as the benefits are plus there is a dutch site that pays for the views you get and makes your.posts visable.on Google too. It is just not.friendly for mobile users.
If you want to blog you.want to do so without all these restrictions.

As you have written-

One of the things that I read and learned when I learned about crypts is that cryptocurrencies are based or supported by people's trust, that is, the most used cryptocurrencies, acquired, retained and exchanged by people, these are supposed to maintain or increase its value, according to that logic of support.

Low price of Steem suggest that people are not trusting Steem and they have no faith on its future. It happened because stinc and the top SP owners were not ready to share profit with the common people. They made it hard for the new comers to write comment or post a blog here because of RC system.

The low price of Steem suggests that people do not trust Steem and have no faith in their future. It happened because stinc and the main owners of SP were not ready to share profits with ordinary people. It made it difficult for newcomers to write comments or publish a blog here because of the RC system.

The lack of confidence at this time may be the root of the matter, but if that is the case, I believe that the investors, the companies and the principal directors here, should announce themselves and do what is necessary so that people have access, can profit and check The interest for the currency.

Well truth be told, this is what some witnesses have to say about steem's dropping price... The say that steemit inc liquidates or dumps a large portion of steem on the markets like every week or month or something like that... And the reason why they sell such huge amounts of steem so often, is so they can access funds to keep steemit inc operations running... This is why steem price finds it hard to rise.

In my opinion it's just matter of perspective. If we just see reward factor and not innovation then it's really difficult because in this world nothing can satisfy human wants. If reward is the factor then now we have Tokenised Communities and now planktons becoming whales in different communities and they are getting empowered. In my opinion if we dig into the Steem world then we will know how much opportunities we have here.

At last i want to say that, no one forced anyone to join Steem and it will never happen like that, but who will pay for your expression and words, it's Steem because we all lived this world and we know it. And today due to Steem many people are succeeded to get food on their table. Yes, there may be hundred things wrong but there are hundred things right too same in real life, so let's focus towards what is good. And growth never comes from thoughts for that we have to go through from the Unimaginable process and Unquestionable journey and efforts.

It's time to change our reality and only one individual can change their reality. Let's focus towards good things and let's not think about future which haven't arrived yet. At last i want to say that nothing is permanent aspect so until we are in reality let's think about the empowerment and let's work towards it. Stay blessed.

The problem with STEEM pricing is that it makes it difficult for both new and old users to buy STEEM. Imagine having to invest $500 in SP (bearing in mind that STEEM is stable and it costs $1), to be able to write the posts you want and receive just under $1 per post. Do you see it profitable?

For me, STEEM-ENGINE is a solution because it allows creating utility tokens and STO tokens. That gives the ability for users to exploit the power of steem blockchain.

And, obviously, the most serious problem is that most of us (Venezuelans) exchange the STEEMs for fiat immediately and don't keep it or do hodl it. That also influences its low price.

It could be because we have few longtime investors. As soon as people make 10 steem, they want to sell it and when supply is too much, demand will reduce and prices will go down.

I think fear about Hardfork 21 might be a part of it honestly. People don't know what to expect, and 20 was so bad that people left the site. I think that is at least a small part of it
