STEEM, To Be a Wailer or An Actor?

As I have written elsewhere, I came into Steem in the fall of December 2017 when the price was in its glory days.

It was a paradise. There were little or no criticisms unlike what we have today. Everything was perfect. Everyone seemed to be smiling and screaming Steem to the moon.

However, in the midst of the jubilations, there was an aggrieved set of people - those who often wailed and complained that they didn't have the opportunity to buy Steem when the price was cheap.

The wailers would lament that the whales had an undue advantage because they bought massive Steem when the price was just a few cents.

Unfortunately, almost everyone (including yours sincerely) took the wailers seriously. We didn't know that they were just empty sensationalists.

In short, I didn't realize how toxic the wailers were until the price of Steem started to slump. Seeing Steem fall below one dollar, one would have thought that the wailers would stop wailing and begin to take advantage of the falling prices by filling their bags with Steem. But that didn't happen.

Instead, the wailers have changed their song. They lament about the falling price of Steem, about the failures of Steemit Inc., about everything that is wrong with Steem. The wailers complain without investing anything, time or money. They just keep wailing.

As history has shown us, the wailers will always have reasons to wail. If the price of Steem is high, they accuse the whales of having undue advantage. And when the price is down, they express fears about the death of Steem instead of taking advantage of the bear market.

Dear reader, it is your choice whether to be a wailer or to take advantage of the declining price of Steem. It is your choice whether to be a wailer or an actor who puts his money where his mouth is.

As for me, I have decided to join the actors, the team of stakeholders and investors who make things happen. I have bought thousands of Steem, believing that Steem will rise again, following the economic changes introduced by HF21.

Also, the introduction of SMTs will be a game changer for Steem. To be a wailer or an actor? the choice is strictly yours. Until I come your way again, I wish you a full Steem ahead.
