HIVE - Steem will be forked this Friday!

Hey, @dizzyjay.

I was troubled at the additional accounts, too. I certainly can't speak for those behind the fork, but I would hope there's a difference between disagreeing with what was done and openly supporting Sun or voting on sock puppet witnesses. I've personally been hoping for a resolution this whole time, but I wouldn't consider that supporting Sun as much as wanting the best for STEEM—but now unless a last minute save can be made (no small feat, and I'm sure the fork will happen regardless—too much distrust for too many people it seems), it looks like a big chunk of the community is headed to HIVE.

They can go. Hive wont be different. It will be the same whales, doing the same thing, while steemit gets an overhaul. I'm dissatisfied with how any of this was handled by the witnesses, the weak original steem devs, the ruthless whales unwilling to negotiate, the way they attacked first and didnt even give Justins acquisition time for the ink to dry before stirring the whole pot and letting the wasps ruin a great partnership. They can go to their hive, they can recycle the steem idea into their little paper mache echochamber. Steemit inc and its api's will be much easier for tron to assimilate into a global phenomenon without the roadblocks.

Where's the community for Steemit going to come from once the hoards leave?

From real marketing to the other 7.3b people who never even noticed steem prior to now. Its nice when the swamp drains itself.

Hey, if Hive shakes things up enough here to spark reform, it's still worthwhile.
