I ran across this new book entitled, Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor's Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar at my local library. Of course, the first thing I did was to check the index at the back of the book to see if Steem or Steemit was included. And, there it was!

Here is a pic taken from the book which describes the "Steemit Bubble." On July 21, 2016, our value was approximately $16 million and two weeks later we were sitting on $350 million, more than a twenty-fold increase in just two weeks time! You can see the chart provided.

That was before my time here. Obviously, that large of an increase would not stick! We see it time and time again. And, any printed book will have information that is outdated, especially in the crypto world!

There is a lot to read and digest here, but I think this one will definitely be an interesting read. I like that they chose to use the term cryptoassets rather than cryptocurrencies or altcoins as not all coins are currencies, per se, but they are all cryptoassets. Kind of makes me think of cryptokitties in that they are digital "assets." Maybe not a good example here though, lol!

I am sure I will be writing more on this book. Have any of you read it yet?
