Electroneum (ETN)- a cryptocurrency which can be mined using a mobile phone- has collaborated with three of Singapore's major telcos to spur the mass adoption of ETN.
ETN can now be used by customers of the lion city's three major telcos- Singtel, Starhub and M1- to replenish the credits for their prepaid cards.
It is indeed heartening to see that cryptocurrency is now accepted for payment of telco services in one of Asia's financial hubs.
I really look forward to the day when cryptocurrency is also accepted at super markets and can be used to pay utility bills.
