When a new payment is received while the current delegation is still active (i.e., not yet expired or revoked), the existing delegation should be marked with a 'Premature' status. This prevents the active delegation from being revoked, as the new payment updates or extends the delegation.

On Steem, delegation forms a 1:1 relationship between the delegator and the delegatee, meaning expired delegations should not affect the existing delegations.

Plan for Extending the Period?

I am thinking how to amend the service so that the existing delegation will be automatically extended with the new payment.. I think it might work - with some careful consideration and calculation.
