Some of my thoughts about bid bots in the Steemland

I feel very stupid proud that I never, ever, ever have used a bid bot during my steem life. I am not sure if I should have, nor do I wish to accuse the ones that might do it. I just see no point, my goal is not 'easy money'. I am a bit like a 'dreamer' who landed on steem and feel too good to be here. Fantasy? Misconception? Utopia? Dream? Questions to be answered in a future post (perhaps)

A video marketing campaign with great prizes, are you in?

If you follow my posts, you must have seen that there is a marketing campaign going on, initiated by @surfermarly and supported by a lot of entities and prominent users!

I published a post yesterday, where I shared some tips about creating Video Campaigns. I also informed everyone that Utopian will support the contest winners, and I will share all liquid rewards with the top 3 winners

1st Goal .. To Increase Liquid Rewards for Winners

First of all thank you everyone who has resteemed and upvoted the post! I wish to further promote it in the community so what I will do is .. try the @dclick platform!

How I plan to do it? By using DClick_beta

I will be sharing my findings with you all..

I had a few questions and dropped of their Discord server. I decided to give it a go and see what happens

@dclick is a relatively new platform where ad creators and users meet in a potentially mutually beneficial way. Ad Creators get their ad exposed and Users get rewarded when other users clicks their ad! You can read more here

2nd Goal ... To Increase the Contest Awareness

This is why my banner will be mentioning Support & Participate
I may even try to enter the contest myself to be honest :) If I find some spare time, and if I ever make @dtube to work for me (For some (I am sure) idiotic reason I never managed to log in)

Let's Check Some Numbers

At the moment the post has 100 upvotes, 8 comments and STU 5.50 Rewards.

I plan to invest 1 SBD. The user kws in discord mentioned that the cost per click will be probably 0.01 which will result to an extra 100 clicks

This is my banner

I decided to create a new banner (with free to use elements)

Process

[1] Log in via Steem Connect

[2] Visit https://www.dclick.io/advertise

[3] This is what I see

Dear @dclick please correct the sponsered with sponsored

[4] My banner had dimensions 1057 x 217 (As I had seen by other banners from dclick) but I received this error

[5] I changed the dimensions to be 1080 x 360 (I was advised to keep a 3x1 ratio)

[6] I added the link and amount (1 SBD) and even though the banner seems to be a bit strangley compressed, I will give it a go

[7] I am having second thoughts about the banner and have changed the ratio to 4.5 x 1
The current banner dimensions are 1098 x 240 and guess what, it looks better!

[8] When I click 'start' I am prompted to click

[9] And a few seconds later I see ...

[10] You need to allow the payment (pop up window alert - need to be enabled)

[!] Attention! I received a confirmation and right after that an error, but still the payment did go through

Notes: It would be nice to be able to change the Title
Language: You can select between English and Korean. Not sure if this means to which users the ad will appear or if it refers to which language the post is written in.
