I wonder if the 25% includes the comments that were upvoted and earned some money that way

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    No, that'll be additional. The 25% will be split up between the highest voted posts on top of their own reward. Afaik ;)
