This downfall is our biggest...and probably our last chance!

Hello everyone!

How are things guys? I assume you kinda feel depressed right now right? NO? Really? Well you shouldn't. Yeah you heard right. You shouldn't.

You see, since you are a member of this platform you probably belong to that 0.001% of the world population that has the information and the knowledge of what Steemit / steem is. With that being said, you also belong to approximately the same % of people who are familiar with cryptos. Which also means that you see the potential and the every day use steem might have, and how is crypto game is being played by now...Not everyone is so lucky you know....

At this point I have to admit that I didn't have the knowledge nor the information to be among the first adopters of BTC. A coin that made hundreds of people millionaires. As a matter of fact I became familiar with this world at the end of 2017. And joining Steemit was actually my first real experience of what this is all about.

So by mid January, when I finally got approved here, prices were really high and I was convinced that there is not the slightest chance to be able to purchase any coins. I mean...I am an average person. How many average people can afford to buy BTC at 17K - 18K? Even steem was actually really expensive for my standards. So my realistic goal was to post here regularly and try to mine steem.

But you see...history has a funny way of repeating itself, and after 7 full months of constant downfall here we are. That gave me he opportunity to buy steem every now and then, and without even realizing it, I possess more or less 4K SP. Now I know for some of you this might sound as a ridiculous small amount, but for me it is a big deal.

But I guess that there is the other side of the coin, meaning that newcomers might see this amount of SP and think that it is waaaay to much for their standards.

Guess what...it isn't!

If I did it, then probably many of you can do it too. At this point I want to mention that I live in a country which is one of the most beautiful destinations to spend your vacations (summer or winter) but also has tremendous financial problems and this is Greece.

And watching lately prices keep getting hammered it feels like a second chance was given to me. And I don't plan to let it go by this time. If you asked me back in January what is your plan now I would probably reply: - "I wish steem's price could reach as low as 0.10$ even if it was for a day only."

Long story short, I think that cryptos are just like the Internet
Only 1/100000 was privileged enough to use it when it came out. But now it is everywhere.
Can anyone stop the Internet??
Hell no! That’s the case with cryptos too!

I am not trying to convince anyone to buy or anything. I can only speak for myself. What I see here, is a great opportunity.
