I certainly agree that if "everyone" or the "vast majority" of steem holders were to place sell orders, the price would decline rapidly (as well as signal to outsiders that interest in the entire platform is declining). However, I believe a healthy market for trading items of value only increases and expands interest in said item. So, while I understand the sentiment of wishing trade volume of steem to near zero, I don't agree it is the best way to inspire greater interest outside of the community. Just my 2 cents! Thanks very much for the post. I enjoyed reading all of the comments, as well.
