I believe, that to make Steem successful we need to focus on making onboarding process friction-less. And by "onboarding" I also mean a process of getting familiar with rules of Steem blockchain.
On Steemit there are literally hundreds of great tutorials about the whole ecosystem but officially released documents always are a good point of reference for everyone.
I hope you follow @steemitblog and you have noticed that lately, they released to important documents:
I am very happy, that Whitepaper after a year is finally updated. But Steem Whitepaper has one serious flaw - it is damn long!
32 pages? This is too much for average Joe, which know, that there are hundreds of other interesting crypto projects. It is worth to mention that original Bitcoin Whitepaper written by Satoshi Nakamoto is only 8 pages long!
Surprisingly, Steemit Team prepared something awesome - a "Bluepaper", a shorter version of Whitepaper, which describes all aspects of Steem on higher, and more easy to grasp level. All of that on only 7 pages!
"A living document"
During release of Whitepaper, Steemit Team promised, that from now on, updating a Whitepaper should be much easier

As far as I know, current version of Whitepaper is not released yet on Steemit Github,
BTW, did you give a STAR on github to main Steem repository? It sounds silly, but many skilled developers judge how much particular project is worthy of their attention, by taking a look at how many stars particular project has on github. Give Steem repo a star!
... but I have just noticed, that current version of Bluepaper is already release on Github!
But why this is important?
Because, with this repository, you can edit this document and build Steem Bluepaper PDF file on your own! YOU CAN TRANSLATE it and build a shiny Bluepaper in your language!
Below is a sneak peek from our Polish translation, which we just started today!
Truth is, that majority of a world do not understand English very well. IMO translating a Blue and Whitepaper should be a TOP priority of every national Steem Community!

How to create own version of Bluepaper?
Currently, in repository instructions are provided only for Ubuntu 16.04 or higher:

which would not work for OS X and Windows, so I have created a Pull Request, with a script which thanks to a Docker should be able to build a Bluepaper on most of operating systems, with a single command:

I know, that this is not a rocket science, but I think you should know 2 things:
- Bluepaper is now open-source :)
- Building it is relatively easy, so we should leverage this and translate it to as many languages as possible :)
- If you would need a help with building your-language Bluepaper, don't hesitate to ask me for help, if you will need it! here or on steemit.chat :)
