While Golos beats BCH, just like many others do.
Look at those DPOS blockchains go!
DPOS wins hands down
Bitcoin Core BTC and Ethereum are at their max performance, still being congested. And it seems the claims being made that Bitcoin Cash BCH would take over are far from what is actually happening. As it is beaten by Dogecoin and big time by Litecoin. So it seems the alternative Crypto to Bitcoin is not BCH. Good thing that we seem to get rid of the assumption that only Bitcoin, or any of its blockchain clones, is a real Crypto...
Also it is becoming more and more clear that Cryptos like Bitcoin have their flaws. Higher transaction fees as the market price goes up. Slow blocktimes, need bigger blocks to keep up with demand. Innovations promised but yet have to prove themselves. Many have warned Bitcoin Core BTC that transaction congestion was becoming a real challenge. Only to be solved by using bigger blocks.
Kitty furry hairballs
While Bitcoin is struggling due to a blocksize that is too low at 1 MB, Ethereum is in a hairball battle. Showing a weakness of that blockchain technology. Both chains are under stress due to popular demand. Cryptokitties seems to be the biggest Ethereum succes so far. Yet other businesses have been delayed because of the family fun furry little friends hype.
No sweat for DPOS
Steem is close to a new all time high. That is in the amount of transactions done within a day. At over one million this leaves Ethereum out of breath. And Steem is not even using half a percent of its full capacity. The DPOS family members Bitshares and Steem do 47% of the total blockchain transactions. Beating Ethereum and Bitcoin combined. And Golos, Steems twin, beats Bitcoin Cash to the game.
Free transactions
One thing that Cryptos like Dogecoin and Litecoin as an alternative to Bitcoin cannot offer are free transactions. And it is becoming more and more clear that forking clones like Bitcoin Cash actually are losing ground. Mining support is very low and it seems other Cryptos like Dogecoin and Litecoin are preferred. While only a few seem to be stuck with a kind of whitepaper fundamentalism, the rest innovated on it and moved on.
For Steem that means zero fee transactions and 3 second blocks. And no matter how high the Crypto market price will go, the fees stay at zero. Over a million transactions in 24 hours not breaking a single drop of sweat. Ready for the future and Smart Media Tokens. The numbers and figures already proof this. And someday the Crypto market will understand it.
May the Cryptos be with us!
Steem does over a million a day, with ease.

Doge just hangs on I there eh! This is a great showing of how amazing steem is comparative to others. It might be steems time!

That little Dogey doing quite alright amongst the big expensive players. Now I think that deserves a market price to match! ;-)
And Steem is the big winner here, like it has been, it was born that way. Now this performance level is what I think is going to stand out in the Crypto crowd. Also for Bitshares, Golos, Peerplays and the future EOS, these numbers and figures will proof DPOS is the way to go.
Now, where to get the value from that the number one Steem deserves? Well, I'd say get it away from BCH, for instance, Steem is way more powerfull.
Drop BCH to about 16 and move about 1850 over to Steem. That would put things a bit more in perspective I gues. XD
Wonder what JLP would think about that idea.

Hehe, I know exactly what JLP would think ;0)
Make it so!
It's good to see steem getting some recognition. It's a bumpy road but we will get there!

Doge is more usable than BTC because it's value is so low.

Yeah, is weird though because it has been presumed to be dead so many times!

It seems to have a positive sub-culture behind it.

I used to dislike the waiting period for Steem conversion...but it does help t stabilize the platform and value. While I do not hold it for riches I do know that in the 18 months I have been here it has appreciated from .05 to it's current 2.5... that is a nice thing.

Steem is a very clever constructed blockchain, I think. And it becomes more and more apparant how fast and strong it is to the world out there.
Maybe the market finally understands how superb it is and starts to move in slowly.
It has been quite a ride so far. :-)

Bitcoin is slow. But others are fast, luckily, like Litecoin and Dogecoin. But the fastest and cheapest is Steem!
