While the daily number of posts on the Steem blockchain made a new high again yesterday, the price of Steem is back above $1 USD. A record number of 9,280 unique articles have been posted yesterday!
I love this daily growth! Congrats to all Steem holders. The number of posts might be a little bit lower over the weekend, but I'm looking forward to what next week will bring. We'll see if we can keep it up with these growth rates :)

I have 5,000 friends on facebook and over 3,000 followers. I belong to umpteen groups and people add me to new ones every day.
I have been posting my stuff, as published here on Steemit, onto facebook and I have been telling everyone to come over to Steemit for weeks now.
I am hearing from my facebook buddies that they are not receiving their confirmation emails and have been waiting for weeks in some cases.
Can someone please explain to me what the hold up is so that I can advise them to hold on or to re-apply?
Help on this matter is needed urgently, I have received a lot of frustrated messages!

There was an issue with signing up between April 29 and May 5th, but as far as I know this has been fixed and the sign up page is working again now. Can you ask a few of them to re-apply?
