It's been a while since we saw a day like this in Crypto world and I'm loving every second of it. Lets just hope it lasts and even better continues going!

An hour ago when I come downstairs I took a quick look at the charts and it had taken off to 50% gains today, now it's gone even higher still and as I right this it's up another 3% to 70% since I took this screen shot.

I know overall it's been a good day for most of the crypto currencies, but it's always great to see STEEM break away like this. It's the second biggest mover in the top 100 on Coin Market Cap, and now sitting at #25 with a market cap of $859,360,337.

Let's hope this keeps going a who know's were we'll be in a couple months.

I know I've been thinking about and talking about cashing out a small bit of Steem, and maybe this will finally be the time to do it. So far since I've been here on steemit, I have Powered UP pretty much all of the steem I have earned, expect for a small amount I moved into some other crypto's back in December. I'm certainly not ready to power down, but I hope to sit on some of my earnings as liquid steem for about a month and depending on where things are sitting I may cash out a small amount.

I'd hope to be able to take off around $2000 worth to buy a motocycle for the summer, but I would want steem to be sitting around at least $5, since I'm still reluctant to pull too much of the platform and still believe the long term potential is much much higher.

Let's see where this all goes!
