¿How many gallons of water could we buy with all this money?
Because quite frankly my dear friend. Sitting here today from where I am writing this. (VENEZUELA). And reading also an awful lot of stuff around steemit about how much a fortune in Steem/SBDs we could accumulate just writing stunning & outstanding quality content within the platform. I am beginning to have some doubts about our bright future.
With this recent and increasing drought of upvotes and lack of organic interaction that has been noticed along our steemit ecosystem throughout all this year 2018. I'm still not sure that we are gonna be able to overcome the speed to which the hyperinflation treadmill is currently running under our tired feet.
Well, at least over here in Venezuela. Country where It has already become a real mystery to decipher which the hell is now the real or imaginary economic marker/indicator by which the state, the government, the merchants, the traders, the peddlers, everyone and their pets are governed, to establish the prices of products, goods and services nowadays. Clearly, this is no longer the black dollar. The dreadful parallel DT dollar published in some unofficial webpages of dubious reputation. But that until now, while the dollar was rising its price in relation to our otherwise beaten bolivar, everyone claimed that the upward fluctuation that was announced there was the true cause of the increase in prices in everything. But now that the dollar fluctuates downward, the prices still keep going up. ¿How do you eat that? ¿Huh?
Oh boy! in the meantime, let's try to have some fun for a while trying to decipher together ¿Why the hell now we have to try hit with a wrecking ball steemians elbows so they can open their hands and loosen us a couple of cents through an upvote?

I suspect those of us who are well diversified among crypto are going to be a new middle class, those who gamble on currencies are going to be ultra rich, the old money that adapts will reach a new level of wealth which we have never seen before, they will have 99% of the wealth and sit on it and play with it, we may not even know how rich they are, while 1% of the wealth will act as if it were much more than that and be able to buy us things and make us feel rich as long as we have it in the right coins. Those without any crypto may become a new poor class but they will have More opportunities to improve their situation, with the condition that they adapt to the new systems that are controlled by the insanely wealthy.
This is all 3+ years later, I can’t imagine what will happen in between, I hope you guys will be well! Did you hear of @davidhay’s project with dash in Venezuela? Perhaps more projects like these could help the situation?

Yeah mate! I've seen a good bunch of @davidhay’s posts regarding some projects in Vzla. And yeah of course, more projects like these actually could help the situation over here big time. The real challenge is gonna be, besides he can gain enough muscle and international support for these endeavors, that in parallel everyone around here will start a real and massive campaign of Information, capacitation, education and awareness to the entire population in our country about these initiatives, its meaning, scopes and advantages.
Without that support and simultaneous accompaniment, (internal & external) as soon as possible. I'm afraid, venezuelan people already are walking at the very edge of becoming Zimbabwe Trillionaires in less than a rooster crows.
I've already started my «-Dodola - Paparuda - Perperuna-» rituals on steemit to invoke the Gods, Goddess & Deities of rain to sprinkle a few Updrops of fresh water on us. Let's see how powerful my chants are, my drum beats rumble and how attractive I look in my loincloth dancing around the bonfire to convince and lure them to click on this glowing
buttom. ;)

sorry it took me so long to reply to this! I got very popular for 2 days and by the time everyone realized I was a minnow and things calmed down, this reply was deep down on my "reply" page. I have reached out to some more Venezuelans to learn about the situation. It sounds worse than I thought. I didn't know about it being so hard to import things and how information was also being controlled.

And yeah mate. Certainly our situation over here is worse than many people know. And unfortunately, worsening every day with a merciless hyperinflation out of control that does not give us rest or breath to keep up.
Oh yeah! A true storm of heavy/fat 'updrops' would be sleek to refresh our mien just a bit while we are still dancing around this drought of love wearing our loincloths mate. :)
