For those who missed my earlier update, I have changed the notification model and have been updating the three different SteemNotify apps (website and browser extensions so far, and Android app tomorrow).
I'm pleased to announce that the new model is running like a dream!
The back end is flying along and there's no dropping of notifications. You can get the extensions at the chrome and firefox webstores. For those who already have the extensions, go to your extensions page and click to update to get the new version.
Next on the list is recoding the Android App, and I should be able to bring an updated version of that to you tomorrow. Keep your eye out for the update post.
The website and browser extensions are now out of beta (although, I think I broke the 'no votes' notification switch, so that will be fixed in next update), and I'm finally really happy with how they are performing. Please spread the word and lets see everyone able to get steem notifications. Cheers!
A quick update on this...
To fit in with the way the phone app handles links, I've had to change the back end code slightly, which makes the browser extensions stop functioning. I have released two new versions 1.0.3, so you will need to upgrade to them to keep getting your notifications.
Android app upgrade is on it's way. Hopefully in a few hours time. Tomorrow at the latest.
