Splinterlands along with the rest of their team and witnesses have left the Steem blockchain.

Will other games follow ?

or will they lose players that stay on STEEM??

          I think splinterlands is trying to join as many blockchains as they can since they have power creep issues and that is the death of all games

            What are the implications for players? Were the cards ported to the HIVE chain like most wallet values? My guess is that it was a side chain that is now simply linked to HIVE instead of STEEM?

              Yes splinterlands and Steem-Engine are just sided chains and now splinterlands is connected to HIVE and there is a Hive-engine

              One has to wonder if it hurts STEEM more with splinterland's depature or splinterlands more for limiting their potential user base for vindictive reasons.
