@therealwolf here - developer and founder of @smartsteem & @smartmarket.
One of my personal biggest fears as a developer - is the missing of bugs / logical errors in my written code.
While most of the code I've written for @smartsteem and @smartmarket works like a charm - today I found a logical thought error which gave Vote-Sellers less payout than they should have received.
And for that I'm sorry!
While the bug has been fixed - we want to compensate everyone who made less revenue than what we promised (even though the revenue was still pretty good and the bug only small!) - we decided to make 2 changes:
100% Profit for 2 weeks
All Vote-Sellers that have sold votes until today will receive 100% of the profit for 2 weeks.
We receive 5 SBD for an upvote that you voted for us? You will receive the full 5 SBD!
Note: But only those Vote-Sellers who have sold Votes until today. The rest will be 85%
Allow Posting-Voting option disabled for 2 weeks
While the option to allow Posts from Post-Voting was used as a way to increase the payout for the Vote-Sellers from 85% to 98% while allowing us to use 1 vote max per day on posts from smartsteem - we are disabling this until further notice!
New Vote-Sellers will receive 85%
And new Vote-Sellers that haven't sold their votes before will receive 85% of the profit - regardless if the option of Allow-Postvoting is activated or not, since it is currently disabled.
How to find the Profits?
Go to smartsteem.com and login. After that you will find all your sold-Votes on your profile.
Again - as the developer, I'm sorry for this and will do my best to make sure those things never happen again!

Hello. I noticed something, when I set to vote only on 100% VP, it was voting on 99%, now is voting on 96%?
So, apart of doing that option really works as intended, could you also add a 1 to 1 percent there, to set it, for example, at 97% or any number I want from 0% to 100%?

I have a question regarding the profits I make. It says in the profile that I upvote for 0.031 and that I can have to 98% of the upvotes, but I only get around 0.012 on my balance. Is there something I'm missing or am I just that dumb?

The 98% option is currently disabled as we don't use your vote to upvote our own posts. However, when you upvote with 0.031 - you will only receive the amount that the user pays, which is around 0.031 / 2.4 => 0.12
