I signed up only a week back and it is a bit disheartening to see the posts related to down trend.
However, I am going to try and hang on to steemit, I believe this is long term too.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
