confused by the new curation reward system

Hi there steem,

since the last fork I realized we dont get our reward for curating posts automatically - but how does that work now?
Do we have to request that reward somehow?

      I don't think you get anything until the post pays out... Which is 7 days now.

        ok yes - thats what I see with posts I upvoted (curated?), but no 'income' of rewards so far...
