Honestly ... I have never done a power down.
But with what happened these past few days, I began to have doubts

I’m powering up :)

In over the +3 years since I've been here I am proud to say that I have not hit that Power Down button once.

I have said all along that I am on a one way ticket to Power Up all the way.

However, some of these latest Power Downs are causing me concerns.

I was about to start a few new communities last week, but that required me buying steem for the first time.

I was starting the process by readying funds in place, but it wasn't the money that still holds me back, it's the prospect of what personal investment it would take to ever find my place here, compounded by the drama and core dev team leaving.

I'm still checking in, so there's your little ray of hope.

They may have their personal reason for doing that or they don't believe in the system any longer.

Many are scared by the how the things are going on here, in particular with the TRON entrance.
I hit myself the powerdown button but then I stopped.

I powered down because of shit TRON but I cancelled for the great community.
