Do You Have An Abundance Mindset???? STEEM Is Providing, Why Do You Fret?

in steem •  7 years ago

There is no denying that we were all raised in a bankster controlled world. Because of this, significant psychological damage was done to us. The world around us is one based upon greed and fear. This was erected by making things scarce. Hence we have people yearning for more.

"Enough is never enough".

This is a line from the movie Last Holiday.

"Greed Is Good".

Who can forget Gordon Gekko in Wall Street?

Madison Avenue is lined with companies who exist solely to control what we think. They are the ones who determine what is pretty, successful, beautiful, desirable, and attractive. If you do not fit their image, they have a product to sell you which will get you closer.

Of course, they are creating an image which never can be reached. It is a moving target, something few realize. Reach one goal, there is another to pursue. Get that promotion, it is time to work even longer hours to get another one. Happiness is measured in "stuff" and you better have more than your fair share if you want to be looked up to.

The obvious fact is very few of us ever enter this realm. We all know the system is designed to reward only a few. Most people in the world struggle just to get by. Poverty, while coming down, is still at about 20% as defined by the WHO. Even in first world nations, many have a difficult time making ends meet. Millions are suffering from a lack of money. Naturally, the stats bear this out as we see the eradication of the middle class while the divide between the haves and the have nots gets wider.

This is the world created by the banksters. With scarcity as their main tool, they have the resources to do whatever they please. They have choices. The average person has no choice. He or she takes what is given because that is all there is. Try not going to work for a few months and see how you do.

That said, times are changing. Many people take exception to me proclaiming that the Age of Abundance is on its way. Nevertheless, when you understand what is really taking place, it is clear what the future holds.

If you want to see how one's life will be in 10 years, look at the wealthy today. Over time, technology ends up moving down the scale so that it gets into the hands of the average person. When I was caddying in the 1980s, only doctors had beepers: 10 year later, I had one. By the early 1990s, they retired that device for the cell phone, something I had by the start of the 2000s.

Look at any personal technology and you will see that the price drop put it in the hands of the masses within a decade..

Today, we are seeing the Internet come to money. This is going to revolutionize how things operate in the future. It is this mechanism that is going to create abundance.

Ten years from now, everyone will have the money of the wealthy. The reason I state this is because cryptocurrency is a technology. Most look at it as a financial instrument. While it has those properties. this is a technological development. Hence, over time, it starts to spread into the hands of the masses. I believe many on Steemit are starting to see that perspective. We are going to see many millionaires created off this blockchain in the next few years. In ten years time, it is possible that almost everyone who is on the steem blockchain will be a millionaire.

The prospect of technological automation eliminating millions of jobs is starting to get a lot of publicity. People are really worried about this. What are we going to do when people do not have the ability to work?

For those who read my last few posts, this mindset is almost humorous. The answer is becoming clearer by the day. Yet most of society has no clue what it is. They are stuck in the scarcity mindset.

Fortunately, we are seeing the overriding majority on here starting to grasp this concept. That said, we still see the fear arise from some on here. They lash out, cussing and calling others names. At the core of this is their fear over not getting enough. They feel that someone else is going to prevent them from getting theirs. It is the world of abundance, that is impossible.

People still want to cling to the scarcity mindset. It is understandable. As I said, the banksters did a job on all of us. There is no way we were reared in the society were fear was a basic tool used against us and not suffer consequences. However, it is time to move past that.

Each day, more STEEM is offered to anyone who wants to come on here. There is nothing that says anyone is precluded from earning STEEM off a post. The only requirement is people upvote said post. This is where many get fearful because others are getting higher rewards than they are. Thus, they get jealous and lash out.

Relax. There is plenty of STEEM. The blockchain is programmed to provide STEEM everyday for the next two decades. Tens of millions more STEEM will be available and that doesn't even mention all the other tokens which will be available on this blockchain. If @ned's visions comes true, we are going to see billions of dollars created on this blockchain.

So why are you fretting? Why is there the fear over what is taking place in the world? Why do people insist on lashing out at others? The world is changing for the better and we have a front row seat.

Someone who is locked in a sealed container worries about having enough air. A person, on the other hand, who is an open field does not have that same concern. Under the first scenario air is scarce, the later abundant.

The steem blockchain is an open field. We were in a sealed container with the key being held by the banksters. However, we were sprung. Now we can take in all the air we want without even giving it a thought.

STEEM is going to be something people do not even think about because it will be so abundant. When tokens are coming at you from every direction and many are going up in value, are you going to fret about someone getting a few tokens more.

It gets to a point where money simply is a way to keep score. And that is exactly what it is for the wealthy.

As I said, if you want to see your life in 10-15 years, look at the wealthy today. Much of what they have will be yours...if you even want it.

Being on STEEM means you entered the land of abundance.

The world is changing for the better and we have a front row seat.

I like this sentence. It just really spoke to me. I'm not usually one who is in the proverbial front seat; so this is a nice change of pace for me. I've pretty much been a follower and now, me and all these other active steemians, are getting the pleasure of being in front. No more backseat for this girl!

No more backseat for this girl!

No even on your anniversary for old times sake?

Hubby might like that. 😁

From a poverty mindset of competition for survival - to a creative mindset of technological innovation.

Paradigm shift is in the protocols - recognizing where the value and importance is.

knowing the basics - the base layers here - is key - instead of it being a trickle down effect......we build from the ground up....and actually both ways - like a tree we make deep roots and we branch out.

Enjoyed the post - cheers!

Being on STEEM means you entered the land of abundance.

Sometimes, our bankster-corrupted mind finds itself so difficult to grasp this astounding truth, but I think it's gradually catching on, with the increasing number of sign-ups and an equally increasing population on steemit blockchain.
Welcome to the land of abundance! See you at the top @taskmaster4450. 😁😁😁

The rate at which we are progressing is both frightening and hopeful.

Frightening in the fact that it's all uncharted territory, and the people who have the Power are doing their best to keep it that way now.

Hopeful in in the regard that people are waking up to realize they don't have to be a cog in the machine. AI, automation, and more emerging technologies will be used to supplement and complement work and improve our overall quality of life.

Whether you want to pursue something you are actually passionate about, go back to school, take other creative investment risks, or spend more time doing leisurely things - the choice will be up to us. We have a long ways to go, but if we play our cards right and don't let the centralized forms of authority suppress us, we will be far "richer" in every sense in just a matter of years.

Thanks for sharing

I agree completely.

The steem blockchain is an open field. We were in a sealed container with the key being held by the banksters. However, we were sprung. Now we can take in all the air we want without even giving it a thought.

Yeaaaaa..we can proudly say yes to freedom.

STEEM is going to be something people do not even think about because it will be so abundant.

Nothing can be compared to steem at the moment . It has set itself apart for greatness.

Being on STEEM means you entered the land of abundance.

Can never be said any better

That is totally true, the market tends to renew itself and increase the quality of life as it manages to distribute to the masses the products that previously only the rich could acquire. There was a moment in history, where having a single television in the house, was very expensive and only a few could afford, now, everyone has one or more. This is how the market works, sometimes it is a bit slow for the expectations of people, because these have become more demanding, in a way the market has badly raised them, but in the past centuries, the material development that we have developed would be quite admired.

Absolutely @vieira.

Another thing is the pace of penetration is speeding up.

It took over 60 years for US households to have a phone...it took 30 years for 70% of the US to have a PC...it took under 7 for a smart phone.

As the television, now every smart phone is a t.v....kids are carrying the t.v. around with them.

That is a radical difference from my child hood days. Hell, I was the remote control.

The early adopters are the one that will reap the rewards and continue cascading the abundance mindset in Steem.

We have seen it before billionaires from Bitcoin as they got into the game early. We have seen Ned and the developers here have so much vested shares and delegating it to early adopters and investors who in turn are earning quite a lot.

They are able to freely support topics and advocacy that they care about as we see such a diverse range of STEM, Homesteading, Art, Literature, Charities and everything else in between being supported.

It is so exciting to be part of this change that will disrupt the scarcity mindset.

I was at the start of my career here in Steemit had that mindset that there was simply not enough votes to go around. We were taught to vote bet to two whales and each one of us were clamoring to get it and looking at each other's post earnings.

People are greedy and jealous because we have been taught ever since that for all the actions we do we always had a What's In For Me. This mentality of WIFM has made us treat other people bad as we see them as a threat in our earnings.

The Steem community is large and there are other people from minnows to whale that will like our content. With that thinking that I should not be limited to my local community that is when I thrived.

In turn I now learned the power of the gifteconomy. It's not what you earn that fully matters. It is what you give out that it important. The more people that you communicate and help, the more blessings are returned to you.

Sure you can sit in a corner and keep upvoting yourself and eventually you will power up but your grow was not organic nor have you created influence in the community.

This power is meant to be shared and for everyone to grow and be ambassadors of abundance.

Exactly. It is a different model completely from what we are accustomed to. Embracing that mindset is difficult. It is not easy to get go of our fears since we know them so well...they are comforting to us in a strange way.

The age of abundance is here. But then, people still have to open their palms to pick the manna drop from heaven and until people learn to leave their fear and adapt to the changing system, the wealthy will still grab a large portion of the manna.

Thanks for the comment @lordjames.

The skeptic in people causes them not to believe. I have talked to many who simply will not believe it.

Free money = scam.

Especially when Jamie Dimon is stating that....why people believe him I have no idea.

I see Steemians with hundreds of dollars worth of upvotes and if I have time, I'll check out their posts. Sometimes I can understand how this post is Trending, but sometimes I'm scratching my head.

Maybe they have thousands of followers or maybe they know the right bots. I don't get upset about it. One day, I'll be sharing the pot of Steem with my followers and friends.

All in good time. 😎

That is the attitude @wonderwop.

They did what they did to get there. Many of them put in their time plus caught some fortunate waves with an insane inflation rate for a while.

Either way, we can only deal with what where we are at. And that is a glorious position. Even though just starting out today on this blockchain are in great position. There is so much going on that one who makes a few hundred SP in the next couple months will be elated.

Even though I read most of your articles I still find it hard to imagine a world where I won't care about money. It sound way too good to be true on an emotional level. On a rational level I'm starting to understand more and more that the future will be that of abundance.

Consider what the internet did.

30 years ago, the information people had in their homes at night were the evening news, a newspaper, and the radio. Now, you have abundant information.

At that same time, communication was limited to the phone, writing a letter and mailing it, or yelling out the window. Now we have unlimited ways to communicate with each other.

The internet came to money. Not only are you getting STEEM on here, you will also get Vice (if you had any steem as of the snapshot date) and Appics. And that is only what we know about....I believe there will be more to come.

The Internet copies whatever it gets it hands on...now it is money.

I think honestly, people just love to worry.

As you said, some people are legitimately stressed about where their next meal comes from... and since I don't have that concern, and never have, it's almost crazy that I would be stressed at all... but we do, as each problem is solved, we look for new things to worry about... 'I have food now but will I next year', 'will I have enough food when I retire', etc etc... until eventually gets to the point of 'are these the right socks?'...

The problem is that stress and worry cause health issues... so I agree... we should all embrace all the next technology that will make our lives amazing and immerse ourselves in a.) How we can make our lives amazing b.) What makes us happiest...

We all need to work hard to train ourselves into loving how amazing our lives are and how amazingly spectacular they will be.

I think honestly, people just love to worry

Same here. We aren't necessarily born with it I don't believe. It comes to us as we watch people and get caught up in the moment, or the drama. Nature v. nurture perhaps at some society level?

I think it comes from being reared in the bankster controlled world where fear is the basic emotion due to scarcity being driven into us at every turn.

We are taught there isnt enough, we arent enough, and we need more.

The hole people have within them is not filled with stuff yet that is exactly what people try to do. Over time, it becomes an endless pit.

Today, is there anyone worried about not having enough information? Of course not, the Internet gave us more than we can read in 10,000 lifetimes.

It will do the same with money.

I was thinking about this last night.... we're trying to save money for a holiday in 2 weeks and a truck in April... but after a hard training session, and while I was driving home I was thinking about food I could buy. .. I wasn't that hungry, and I had food at home, I was just excited about buying something new. That hit of dopamine that new things give us and that voice that we need more is super damaging to us all. We're already in the age of abundance compared to people 100 years ago and possibly 100 years in the future.... but we're just not conditioned to recognise it.

Here's to us already having so much! It's amazing!

Great thought-provoking post once again TM.

That is true.

Actually we dont even need to go back 100 years.

I just posted a comment...30 years ago the only information people had in their homes was the nightly news, the newspaper, and perhaps some books. The only communication was the phone, writing a letter, or screaming out the window.

Now we have more information than we can read in 10K lifetimes and we can communicate with each other in unlimited ways.

I believe money is going to experience the same thing. In fact, we are already seeing it. Bloggers and Vloggers who made nothing after years on Wordpress, Blogger, and Youtube are making money on here their first month. In fact, one can say everyone can make money their first day. One upvote to another carries a reward...might only be .001 but it is something.

This is where many get fearful because others are getting higher rewards than they are. Thus, they get jealous and lash out.

Fixating on what others make here is worse than pointless. That way lies madness.

Great point @preparedwombat.

It really does...yet people insist upon doing it.

The most exciting part of watching the blocktalk discussion (thank you by the way) was understanding that steemit is just a miniscule part of what the STEEM network can become, and not only STEEM, but many other decentralized networks that give people the power and incentive to create and build their own cultural/economic/pluralistic vision of a future without bowing to the corpo-financial-governing masters.

PEACE , STEEM the hell out of it !!

Absolutely @clumsysilverdad.

Too many want to make the mistake thinking this is all there is....that is so are from the truth it is mind boggling. D.tube, as an example, is most likely getting more of the new users than Steemit.

Like stars are only a small representation of the whole, steemit is only a small part of STEEM which is only a small part of the entire crypto/blockchain landscape (although one of the leading parts in my opinion).

As I stated, I believe in a few year people will be receiving 25-50 tokens on a monthly basis...from all kinds of different activities.

Nature is naturally abundant.

Scarcity is a made up concept and perhaps we’ve finally learned how to beat bankers at their own game.

It's truly amazing when you think about how different everything is going to be. When everybody can live their lives without the stresses we have today surrounding money, it'll be amazing.

I couldn't care for flash cars and huge houses, they are just toys and objects with little meaning. We can use our wealth for HUGE opportunities all around the world as we create a different world for us all to live in.
When the control is away from the greedy and malicious, the masses can direct the focus on building a better place to live. That is something exciting.

It's amazing to think we are not far away from the big shift. As long as we look out for each other and continue to build and support the platforms that reject negative and hurtful behavior.

I wonder how Steemit affects all of us subconsciously. We read great content, we support and bring each other up through our comments and communities, we all gain rewards for our time no matter how little and it's all available for everybody who has access to a computing device.

It doesn't just have the power to change how we look at money, it has the power to change how we look at each other.

The big thing @calumam is that scarcity affects all. I believe the most important area we will see abundance make a difference is in the area of funding. Right now, research entities, non profits, and other ones trying to make a difference have to beg for money. When we are all enjoying abundance, we can afford to fund those type of endeavors which will also improve the plight of millions.

It isnt about the houses and cars....you are right about that..it is about uplifting humanity to a new level of concern for others.

It will take alot of time to undo all the brain washing. We are asking people to basically see the matrix here.

Many people just are not ready to learn that their whole way of life is a lie that was told to them to extract their labor.

We have to replace the old system with something better before it collapses. That is why Steem is so important. We are building the counter economy one key stroke at a time.

Thanks for the post.

Keep Steeming!

I am very grateful being one of the steemians,
YES! steemit offer abundance!

I just bought it out of steemit earning

A shift from cash to tokens will help the change of perspective and erode the ingrained bankster view.

Counting cash is too ingrained into society at the moment and from this it is hard for most to imagine any future possible abundance.

A new medium of value-exchange via tokens should help level the playing field and provide the opportunity to spread abundance to all.

well said Banksters are declining unbank yourselves and get rid of JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs...

Highly accurate - as of now existing users are already experiencing how life-changing STEEM Blockchain is. Yes, everyone has the potential to earn the necessary income they need by leveraging on STEEM provided that you put in the necessary hours and effort. Compared to fighting over limited resources, now we simply have to prove to ourselves that we are good enough and everyone can rewarded together instead of just a selected few.

Great post as usual. It is rather humorous to watch people fret on here.

I'm just happy to get any bit of Steem I can, and have fun while doing it :) That's the dream

Yes it is almost humorous.

It is amazing to see people complain about their earnings when we see what Youtube and facebook are doing.

I always ask people, how much did you make on those sites? Since few people made money, they usually say very little.

So what are you complaining about?

Your posts are probably one of my favorites here on steemit.

I don’t know how steemit will look like in a few years, but knowing this is just beginning it will probably be absolutely huge!

1000$ steem sound sounds like a wild predictions, especially with the inflation taken into account, but crazier things have become true. Who would have thought bitcoin could be worth more than 10k each!

I think being active on steemit and building a reputation is path to winning. Besides, it’s fun and we get to known awesome and interesting people in the meantime.

Cheers pal!

Yes $1000 does when we are bouncing between $4-$6. Of course, $1200 ETH seemed crazy a year ago.

When you see the values of many of the top 20 blockchains, a lot of it is based upon the belief they will do certain things. STEEM is already doing what it was designed to do. The other day 20K people signed up and another 8K yesterday. We are over 700K members with close to 60K active.

D.tube is very active and starting to attract some heavy hitters. In the next 90 days we are going to see the foundation laid for another massive explosion. I am not sure what the price will be at that time but it will be much higher after that.

So, while I dont think $1000 is near, it is not out of the realm.

A lot of people go on this website and complain that the big people get a lot more Steem than those starting out. They don't realize that the big people have been on the platform longer. This mentality I actually think was created partially from YouTube, and how, even though up until recently everyone had the same money per thousand views, the big guys got more money because they knew how to make popular videos. It takes time, and everyone is so impatient.

I am so glad I am not the only one that see these things so clearly. Gives me hope for humanity that we are not completely lost.

Steem and blockchain overall are going to revolutionize the world. People are starting to realize the potential of them such as Starbucks and more of the everyday folk "common man." This is great to see and the more and more who realize this the less power banksters will have. They have forced their mindset upon us trying to hide that there are alternatives. They have realized some of the power of blockchain but only see it as a means for profit as they utilize ripple which also puts the power in their hands once again because it is centralized. This was a great read, I have no idea how you are able to post every day. It is extremely impressive, perhaps one day you can share with us your routine :) Feels good to comment on your posts again!

The real challenge is believing in abundance for myself, everyone else probably has gone through this that has made an abundant life.

I think one huge part of accepting abundance is being grateful, we can't say I deserve more! we just need to get to work. It's pretty easy to get down on myself some days about not being able to provide for me and mine if I ever did take the plunge and leave the corporate life for one of freedom. Some days are great, others aren't.

So the biggest work for me is mindset, losing the fear and worry, and just being grateful to be here now and have so much success in these first couple months :)

This platform is getting more popular everyday . I saw many articles on steemit , youtube channel Altcoin buzz made a video on it . I watched that video and joined instantly . Many youtubers are picking on steemit . Some are even shifting to Dtube from youtube Lol . Steem is the cryptocurrency of 2018 .

"Ten years from now, everyone will have the money of the wealthy.

if you want to see your life in 10-15 years, look at the wealthy today. "

Your articles are great .

I believe steem blockchain would bring a change to the system we live in .
We got so much wealth in this world but it is not properly distributed . Only the 1% accounts for 99% of our world capital . This is one of the prime reason which gave rise to poverty . Every year we see inflation , rich becomes rich poor becomes poorer / The governments wont improve the system as it benefits them . It is only technology that brings change to the masses .I hope cryptos end the poverty in this world .

Amazing post. It is all about mindset. You can complain and blame or take responsibility, you can see obstacle or opportunity, you can think big or small. For those who lashing out at others- you get what you put in.

I am digging this

Great post thanks for sharing bud , true I agree steem is so big it's insane wish there were more people guiding me on steem like you sre

Very nice article, it will help us speed up the work.

Thank you for this. What a nice treat. Hope you enjoy your weekend.

STEEM is one of the only (maybe THE only) place today where there is always more to go around. I can give to others and still have plenty. Then they can give back and give to still others...and yet their STEEM hasn't diminished...in fact it will grow as those they shared with share back to them. It's a truly virtuous cycle that does indeed create abundance. So stop fretting,

all will be well and all will be well and all manner of thing will be well.

And abundant.

really friends, every day there will be changes, especially in the world of technology. all of us will get rich just the different stages. support and mutual support are very important friends. thanks.

Truly said.
Though some people might not see what crypto has come to do the world of blockchain. The wall street will definately give them no choice than to want to join the lead and stop the fear

Very nice post, thanks.

Nice post beautiful presented and explained. detail oriented with nice information. thank you for sharing @taskmaster4450

These are the kind of behaviors that will lead us to extinction, practically it is cannibalism, we just do not eat the meat but we swallow the benefits and things that others have just to satisfy a wrong need to have more ....
when you die you do not take more than your soul ....

Steem Eos Bitshares are my top 3 cryptocurrecny pick . These are not just store of value but more . I am fan of @ned . Steem is already helping people in developing nations .

My friends have registered on steemit , they are waiting for approval . I see steem's popularity rising .

It could remove poverty if market stays stable .

steeming has become a way of life for many people . I believe in @ned's vision . Keep posting , keep steeming.

I agree with you, but I think it is difficult for the older generation. You brought a great example with technologies, such as mobile phones. I remember, when I was in school, it was a luxury. And now? But my grandmother has great difficulty coping with her mobile phone, the main for her is the large buttons and loud call)

I like your Steemit dream. I sure do hope it becomes reality. Great post keep up the good work

Very clearly and soothingly laid out @taskmaster - the perception switch from scarcity (old paradigm think) to flowing abundance-which-doesn't-need-to-be-grasped-at (new paradigm think) really resonates with me, and it is great to see it spelt out like this.
Thank you and Namaste!

I know there's a reason why I am following you. :)
Good point of view

I think that growing up in the bankster controlled world you describe can lead to long-lasting, if not permanent, trauma. So many survivors of the Great Depression live their entire lives in fear of another crisis.

Magnificent article. Our fear is being induced by banks and authorities, which are beginning to actively fight for their power.

Великолепная статья. Наш страх индуцируют банки и власти, которые начинаю активно бороться за свою власть.

Cool article!

My parents instilled/inflicted the poverty mindset upon my siblings and myself. That's why this place seemed so appealing to me, it's like a breath of fresh air.

My parents will almost certainly die with mindset but I have the chance to escape and establish a different set of ideals into my own children.

My kids are seeing me here and hear me talking crypto and realise that the old paradigm is a choice and a poor one at that.
