400 votes returns a value of $2 which sort of puts my time at around $0.75c per hour {sulk}

The number of votes doesn't have much to do with the value as a 1% of the people give 99% of the value. As Steemit matures I hope this balance will change

Just have to keep people around long enough....not sure how that is going to be achieved. I have been following all the debates and arguments and frankly I do not see how Steemit can survive as there is no clear incentive to invest in Steem. The current Steem price of just over 7c is indicative of the slippery slope.
