I have nothing against Jerry per se, we had a disagreement once and he made it right, I can't complain about that. His downfall had no reflection upon me as I've seen far worse stuff done...so I'll leave it at that.

I saw his lame ass post where he PRETENDS to be a man of the people. "I shut down my bidbot and will now vote for YOU out of the kindness of my own heart." ...but the only way you can get the vote is if you sign up for his spam mailing list and then maybe he'll just sell that list and make money off your gullible asses, or send you spam for the rest of your life. It's just a ruse. He can't support 4000 votes in a day at 100% and I'm SHOCKED people actually signed up for that nonsense. OMG free money! No. He's a con artist.

Not only that, it isn't even his STEEM. Only 6,700 SP out of the 415K SP is his (which is being powered down 100% and from the curation rewards of his bot), so he is using other people's delegation under false pretenses.

He likely knows most will never notice especially the one who delegates 77% of his Steem Power.

It's in his nature to take advantage of people. Just at a glance I notice he's now targeting those dealing with addictions. Those people are fragile when recovering and can easily be manipulated when in that state of mind and I'm sure he knows that because he always targets those seemingly in need.

Actually was using SteemPlus's API not SteemWorld. SteemWorld is too much work to pull into a post and SteemSQL requires a lot of computation to calculate.

I read you use SteemPlus, i thought you can get good and "save" resoults with Steem World for the Datamining.

I've tried using SteemWorld in the past, but I have to do some text manipulation as it is I got to clean up the reputation which gets merged with the user name. Was quicker to write a quick script to use SteemPlus's API and just put it in the format I needed.

I was using the SteemPlus API for pulling the delegation, but didn't realize at first it was all delegations ever not just current ones. I fixed the post to only reflect current delegations. Sorry about the ping.

This is a fundamental problem with delegations. As users disappear or stop paying close attention Irish exits like this will become extremely profitable and easy to get away with. Glad you were on the lookout!

He's such scammy get rich quick pitchman. I think its bad for steem for him to the first thing that comes up when you search for steemit on youtube. He's always got his own self interests first, selling accounts for 50 dollars or courses on how to become a witness. That shit isn't for the community, its for him to make money. He even makes videos on how to game the system here, what good could possibly come from that?

Sure. I signed up for his mailing list for the upvote, why not? If he wants to auto-upvote my posts for an e-mail address, fine with me.

I only read Jerry's posts every once in a while. If he did not inform his delegaters of his actions, that is unfortunate. Someone who receives such a great deal of delegation, I would think, would have sent a note to each delegaters' wallet. Easy enough, right? I get 0.0001 wallet advertisements from bots almost daily.

Should of, would of, could of... won't buy a beer at the Legion Canteen. 🤣 Hindsight is 20/20, unfortunately.

Greatly appreciate your in-depth research and getting this information out @themarkymark. Hopefully it will be seen by those accounts affected and they will be able to take appropriate action.

If you sent bids to him that didn't get voted, you would need to talk to him.
If you are delegating, you can just remove your delegation. If you think you are owed for previous delegations, you would also need to talk to him.

Look on SteemWorld to see if you have an outbound delegation. I’m on mobile or I would check for you.

That’s unfortunate if this is true. I learned about steem and steemit through a course he made, years ago.

Haven’t seen most of his other stuff.

It was the one about what he saw as the number one cryptocurrency, which was Steem.
