To Double Post or Not To Double Post...? That Is The Question.

So, as many of you know, most of the Steem Developers and English Speaking Users have started using another blockchain. In fact, we all did. Our Steem Accounts and Keys remain the same, so the choice to blog on the new blockchain is solely up to you. You account is also there, even if you don't want to use it.

The main reason I enjoyed this space is due to all the apps developed by freelancer devs (apps such as Busy.org, which sadly seems kind of abandoned, apps like eSteem, SteemPeak, DPoll and others...)

As such, it makes sense for me to make my posts on that another blockchain, called Hive.

I was thinking about publishing my posts on both chains but after thinking for a while, I don't see much point in doing that. If you like my posts and want to follow me there, you're free to do so. Here's my profile at Hive.

Does this mean I'll stop posting here? No. Not at all!

However, I'll be making different kind of posts. Most likely I'll be sharing videoclips or news that I find interesting... you know, cool stuff but which would make a target of flags on the previous Steem. I'd surely be flagged by a couple of assholes that thought they owned the platform, even though social networks like this are created exactly to share content between people, be it original... or simply stuff we come across with. Those assholes didn't care and had enough money to make their opinion be prevalent by force, which meant I had to censor myself, if I wanted to keep blogging. (You know who I am talking about, right?)

I hope you'll enjoy the kind of stuff I'll be posting... and if you prefer my original content instead, feel free to join me at the Hive.

Final Note: I understand that many people will keep publishing the same content here and there... and on the upcoming days I'll be cutting some of my automatic upvotes. If you post the exact same content on both sites, I'll start upvoting you on just one of them. I hope you understand. That will free up my Voting Power on both platforms to support more people.

I was also thinking ... I'll continue to post for a while (1 or 2 weeks) on both but I'll do like you afterwards to post different content depending the platform. Because I find it's a waste of time for users (who are the same between steemit and hive) to see / read the same thing.
Thank you for your point of view ...

I was going to double post but after seeing others do that, I thought it was a bit futile to post the same thing twice.

Right thing to do. :)

A bit confusing with both, but I think the same as you. Try for a couple of weeks and see which one to actually use... .. or both, but with different content...
