Today Weiss Reasearch has released their first crypto currency rating report. STEEM received one of the highest grades among other cryptocurrencies B-. Report caused instantaneous STEEM price growth. Only EOS, Cardano and ETH has higher grade B, STEEM has same grade as NEO.

WEISS RATINGS

WEISS create ratings same as SP or MOODY agency. It has been founded In 1971, Dr. Martin D. Weiss. Weiss has developed multiple rating models for insurance industry and investment marketplace.                 Good to see more institutions paying attention to cryptocurrencies. However don't forget how badly the institutionalized ratings agencies failed everyone in 2008. I can't say anything specifically about Weiss but in general the other companies take money from the industry they are supposed to be rating. That seems less likely with crypto - except for some alt-coins perhaps - but never assume they are reliable.

                      I got a error page!!! Is a B- rating good? In school, a B- was kinda low.
