Today the price for steem is the lowest I have ever seen . It is possibly the best time to buy. or is it.

May people believe that steem can only go up from here. I would have believed it to . However , I have some doubt's .
Unless, bitcoin holds its price, I think all crypto currencies will follow the same down trend with bitcoin. Now that bitcoin is holding some kind of range and steem is falling ,there are suggestions or rather a speculation from me that it might fall even lower.

please don't take my word for it , make your own decision. but,for now I will be holding on.

Tough one to call. I'm a bit torn between the reasons I Have for it to go down and the reasons it might go up.

How it may go down:

Segwit 2x is coming up in a month and a half. Last time, many people sold their alt coins into Bitcoins in order to obtain the new coin from the split. If this happens again, we should expect the USD value of STEEM to go down. It may still be a good time now after all the China FUD to get some BTC, hold it until the fork, and then buy STEEM asap.
The FUD generally continues if the markets feel uncertain with both the segwit 2x, and the future of cryptocurrencies. We may only be at the beginning of an overall correction considering how the prices are still very high compared to the beginning of the year.

How it may go up:

STEEM is still at less than a half of its high in May, and regardless of whether or not the two points above comes true, I think we will see STEEM back above 1.50 at least. That's roughly a 50% increase in just a few weeks/months. Where else can you get that?!
And the most important point. Steemit inc has announced there will be many upcoming updates soon with regard to UI, a potential HF to make it easier to bring on new users etc. There is also work being done to start an ambitious marketing campaign once that is sorted out.
There are also interesting new projects such as @Zappl that will be released soon. This too can help increase the price.

I think now is more likely to be a "good" than a bad time to buy. Now that doesn't mean that there won't be a "better" time between now and the point at which you would consider selling (if ever).

I don't think it's worth thinking too much about where the price is going in the short term. I can hodl if it goes down and make a profit if it goes up. I bought some at a slightly higher price than it is now but that irrelevant because I'm not selling today.

I love it when I find an article that makes me feel good while I'm reading. It's a beautiful point that flows with the current shift happening in humanity. I believe people want to do better and we are evolving into a more loving society.
