I read through this post twice and am still confused at bit. I guess I gotta dust off the whitepaper

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    In the first two paragraphs, I summarize the linked sections of the white paper in a way that is more concise than all the wording there. Perhaps I should unpack my summary some, but I am too sleepy to do it right now.
