Astralis vs Faze

Its Saturday and there are the semifinals in Counter-Strike GO.

100 Thieves took on Team Vitality which had shown potentiel this turnament witg the addition of Shox, but Team Vitality felt short because of 100 Thieves (Old Renegade). It was really close series between those to teams but it ended up being 2-1 with 100 Thieves coming out on top and going to the final.

First map: Dust2

As of writing this the second semifinal of IEM Beijing is between Astralis and Faze. Astralis is the number 2 team in the world and Faze is number 9, so it should be a soild match! Thats what we as players and viewers expect.

But Astralis had some other thoughs in mind, they ended up blowning Faze out of the server with a 16-0 win on the first map(Dust2) which was Faze's pick!

Astralis's ingame leader said in an interview between the games that his teammates went to the Great Wall of China yesterday, but he stayed at the hotel to prepare for this game.

Second map: Nuke

Second map was Nuke which Astralis have been the number 1 team on and off, so they differently know how to play that map and it shows. Astralis won 16-2 not giving Faze a soild stand anywhere on the map.

Its a bit sad to see a match like that if you are a fan lf counter-strike in generel, because you just wanna see some good games and good plays, but this was just pure dominance, now with that said.
As a Dane, I am extremely proud of having a team as Astralis and the players on the team as fellow country men :D
