EVERYTHING HAS ITS TIME

Everything has its time, and everything that is wanted under the sky has its time.

Time to be born, and time to die; planting time, and time to start the planting;

Time to kill, and time to heal; a time to destroy, and a time to build;

Time to mourn, and time to laugh; time to lament, and time to dance;

Time to scatter stones, and time to gather stones; time to embrace, and time to refrain from embracing;

Time to search, and time to lose; time to keep, and time to throw away;

Time to break, and time to sew; time to keep silent, and time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; time of war, and time of peace.

What profit does the one who works have from what he is working on?

I have seen the work that God has given to the children of men to work in him.

Everything made him beautiful in his time; and he has put eternity in their hearts, without man being able to understand the work that God has done from the beginning to the end.

I have known that there is nothing better for them than to be happy, and to do good in their lives;

And also that it is God's gift that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor.

I have understood that everything God does will be perpetual; about that it will not be added, nor will it be diminished; and God does it, so that men fear before him.

That which was, already is; and what must be, was already; and God restores what happened.
