There are people who will come to the ways of the Lord not because of how much you have spoken of the Bible, but because of a personal experience that changed your life completely, they will believe for what you lived. There is no better message of the word than a supernatural change of what God did in our lives, because the testimony makes the existence of God more real and gives more credibility to his word. There is no better message of the word than a sick man who was healthy in the name of Jesus, of a drug addict who left drugs, of a demoniac who was free, of a prostitute that God transformed his life, of a family that was restored, of a marriage that was restored, of a person who left crime, lies, rebellion, among other things. For the lack of testimonies and true changes is that people believe that the gospel and the resurrection of Christ are just a myth. The same radical changes that God made in the life of the apostles spoke of Jesus being really alive, then how we want to show a living Christ if we have not left our bad habits or our old way of life.

The testimony is born of an experience with God, and the experiences with God are born from the place of relationship. We ask a religious about the changes God has made in their lives, and the only thing they can say is that they changed their way of dressing, now they have a Bible that they did not have before, and that now they go to church they went, because that is what religion does, apparent changes. But when you ask someone who has a relationship with God, he tells you that before he had a lot of anger because now he is meek, that before he was full of pride and that now he is humble, that before he was a womanizer and that he is now focused on praying for the woman chosen by God, who did not respect her parents before and who is now obedient and submissive, who used to be a liar and who now does not tell lies, who hated and criticized people before, but who now loves and advises them with love , who used to be an alcoholic and who now hates alcohol, who was previously a drug addict and who now does not feel like giving himself another dose, among other things. This is the testimony of a person who has ongoing encounters with God.

Many are now what you were before and are desperate to see the means you used to leave that life that only causes pain and suffering. They want to hear how many times you lied to your parents to go out with those friends who took you to do the wrong thing, how many hours you spent watching pornography, how many couples you destroyed or how many people broke your heart. They want to know how many times you pretended to be happy when the truth was destroyed inside. They want to know the mask you wore in front of others and when you got home you had to face your own reality, among many other things. Let the world know with your testimony that you are no longer what you were before, that now, the time you spent in nightclubs drinking and sleeping with people who were not your spouse, now you spend it in a church looking for the face of God to be the answer to those who today are slaves of sin. That the mouth you used to lie and criticize now is used to preach the word of God. That the friends that led you to walk in evil ways, now you invite them with your testimony to leave the place where God took you, when before you were his question, today you are his answer.

The testimony is a radical change produced by God from the inside out that will be reflected with a good character, good fruits and good deeds.
