PEACE. A CONSCIOUS WORK/ACT

MATT 5:9

It is important to know that Peace requires a conscious efforts to bring it into light/reality. It is imperative therefore to note that in our text above ouru Lord Jesus makes it evident that what identifies us as God's children is our working for Peace, "Work" here therefore makes Peace a conscious, deliberatr effort at ensuring we live in a serene environment devoid of caos and anarchy at all cost.
However, our first Coursr of study in the PEACE institution is Peace with God. Whereas God has already tried to make peace with Us in 2nd Cor 5:19-20.

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. [20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

We have peace with God when like the prodigal son we come to the alter of Repentance, accepting our sinfulness and exalting God's supremacy and almightiness to fogive and pardon Us..1John1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive Us our sins and to cleanse Us from all unrighteousness

In Hebrew 12:14... we are enjoined to folliw peace with all men. NOTE: with out which no man shall see the Lord but tgen we can not follow peace without making first right our peace stand with God.
And the bible says after this He will make our enemies to be at peace with Us...Prov 16:7.
When God makes your enemies to be at piece with you, that enemy will be used by God to pave way for your breakthrough. This is the blessedness of working for Peace. We shoukd also make peace with our neighbors
Matt 5:25

It is quite an unfortunate thing that ssome believers find it difficult to amicably resolve issues with their fellow beleivers and Jesus worn that this is dangerous as it is capable of taking them to hell.

Action: Make conscious efforts to resolve every differences you havr with any one/neighbors today and more importantly your maker (GOD).
