Dear Community! Dear friends!
A warm hug to all my followers.
Welcome always to my blog.

Are you one of those people who love commitments?

The commitment refers to a type of obligation or agreement that a human being has with others before a fact or situation. A commitment is an obligation that must be fulfilled by the person who has it and took it.

The commitment, in addition, is the ability of a person to become aware of the importance of fulfilling something previously agreed. Being a person who fulfills their commitments is considered a value and a virtue, since this usually ensures success in future projects and fullness.

Commitment to God is something we need to demonstrate and live throughout our Christian walk. It is indispensable. A magnificent God like ours demands it. Dedication to him and his Word is the demonstration that we recognize his majesty and submit to it.

Three Fundamental Attitudes:

Oh! How I love your law! It is my meditation throughout the day. (Psalm 119: 97)

Throughout the history of Christianity it is not uncommon to find people willing to do a series of things "in the name of Jesus", but without any commitment to the Word of God.

Innumerable heresies, men and women without passion. Empty speeches, boring sermons. All this and much more is the result of relationships without commitment to God and his Word.

The psalmist gives us a strong example. He declares his love for the Word of God. This love is expressed through daily meditation and continues in the sacred truth, something that produces spiritual growth.

The behavior of Jesus Christ in the desert of temptation is a wonderful example of commitment to God. He firmly resisted the devil's arguments with a powerful expression: "It is written ..." (Luke 4: 4).

That is to say, it is something that is directly linked to the commitment with the Word of God. The good development of one necessarily needs the other as a foundation.

Cursed is he who does the work of the Lord in a fraudulent way ... (Jeremiah 48:10)

The Lord God has told the prophet Jeremiah some thousands of years ago: "Cursed be anyone who does the work of the Lord with deceit ...". People who replace their responsibilities in the work of the Lord for anything are under the "negative radar" of God.

Commitment to God requires commitment to the work of God. If you take something in the Kingdom of God, go ahead and give your best for the end.

Watch the following episode:

"And another said, Lord, I will follow you, but let me say goodbye first to those who are in my house." And Jesus said to him, "No one who throws a plow hand and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God." (Luke 9) : 61.62)

I would like to analyze Jesus' response.

He "puts a tap" on the attention of one who serves in the work of God. If someone wants to plow the earth in a straight line, he can not look behind. That is, there is only one way to demonstrate commitment to God's work, and it is through focus.

Commitment to God and his work can only be proven through a dedicated life. Centered. He who plows the earth can not simply stop plowing, or do it in any way.

One of the things that catches my attention at this point is what the Lord God says to Habakkuk: "Write the vision, and make clear on tablets, so that he who reads it may run." (Habakkuk 2: 2)

The Lord gives an instruction to Habakkuk so that all the people you passed by him would know of his dedication and focus on the mission.

I believe that the Lord expects the same from us. If you want to show commitment to the Lord, be committed to your work.

For a day is better in your courts than a thousand outside them. I would rather be at the door of the house of my God, to dwell in the tents of the wicked. (Psalm 84:10)

It is impressive the number of people who believe that to be a healthy Christian is no longer necessary to go to church or be of the Church, because they are Church. They think that intimacy with God is outside of the temple experience.

Horrible deception!

I choose to follow the path of the psalmist. I prefer to be in the house of God. Enjoy the communion between the brothers. To be in the house of God is to be in the house of the Father.

Psalmist showed deep joy at the simple fact of being invited to the house of the Lord: "I was glad when they said: Let's go to the house of the Lord." (Psalm 122: 1)

Your commitment to God requires that you have commitment to the Church of God. She is the body of Christ. The bride of the Lamb.

Throughout his life and ministry the Lord Jesus Christ was continuously in the Temple. After his ascension, the apostles maintained that routine. "And every day, in the temple and in the houses, they never ceased to teach, and to proclaim Jesus Christ." (Acts 5:42)

I particularly love the house of the Lord. I can honestly say that it is one of the passions of my life. Be in the Church, to worship the Lord and learn in his Holy Temple.

Commitment to God requires commitment to the Church. However better their intention is, there is no way to detach from each other.

Commitment to God is demonstrated by commitment to the Word of God, to the work of God and to the Church.

There is an attempt to promote a closure between these things. Show that there is no need to keep sacred things because after all, God transcends all of them.
It's a mistake!

Finally, I would like to know the opinion of all the brothers of @steemchurch. Leave your comment and expand the discussion of the matter.

God bless you!

From the spiritual point of view, commitment is the dedication we make of our life in the hands of God as a deposit for Him to be the legal arbiter, with full authority to dictate whether the fidelity we have agreed with Him and His Work follows invariable within the initial frame.
In the Gospel of John 5:35, Jesus summed up the ministry of John the Baptist with these words: "He was a torch that burned and shone; and you wanted to rejoice for a time in its light ». In the Bible Version of the Bear, we read: "He was a lamp that burned, and gave light; but you wanted to be enigmatic for a little in its light ».

Thanks SC-V, Juan's commitment was so decisive, it cost him his own head. He was seriously committed in his role as Prophet.

Excellent ... Many times we make commitments with many people, but we do not want to make a commitment with God who is the provider of all things. It is important to know that Jesus Christ wants you to make a commitment before the world; He longs for us to make a loyal and sincere commitment to him, a commitment to obedience, to be edified, to reflect and scrutinize the scriptures.
a commitment with God, it fills everything, because to walk next to God is to be in the places that He would be; it is worth giving up things that can delight us as humans, but that displease God.
A commitment to God is safer than having all the armies of the world
God bless you @emiliocabrera.

Beautiful concepts described in your sister commentary Ricci. Thanks again and again. Blessings

Our God is a God of Commitment, never lies. Let us strive to fulfill what we promise, every commitment that we acquire with Him must be important to us.

Ecclesiastes 5

4 (3) When you make a promise to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, because he does not like fools. It fulfills what you promise, 5 (4) it is better not to promise, than to promise and not to comply.

And this is the wonderful thing about committing ourselves to God Lorennys: That He is also committed to his children and always fulfills his part.

[center] Good question! We almost never review if our day to day, we act to fulfill a commitment with God our creator, we always envision commitments among our fellow men, among doctrines, tendencies, behaviors defined by society; for example the commitment of marriage and guarantee our children survival ...
Surely when we speak of values and inclusisve of the commandments of our Lord ... we are in front of the commitment with God but we do not admit it ... maybe because often we are not accustomed to feel committed ...

I believe that the key to living in peace with our neighbors would be to admit and fulfill the commitment with God ..

Once Emilio! I congratulate you on your publication. These words can strengthen our spirit.
