NATURAL DISASTERS- PUNISHMENT FROM GOD?

In today's world you may hear many people say ''God rules the world,so he causes natural disasters therefore he must be cruel''. Have u had a similar thought like this,if so let's sew what the bible says (1john 5:19)

we know we originate from God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.

We may wonder who is the wicked one?the Bible identifies him as Satan the devil (matt 13:19)

19 Where anyone hears the word of the Kingdom but does not get the sense of it, the wicked one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart; this is the one sown alongside the road.

Is that too far? Think of this:if Satan has power over the world,then he influences humans to be as selfish,greedy and short sighted as he is.would this not explain why man so badly mismanages his own environment on the earth,and the mismanagement may play a role in natural disasters,whether by causing them,worsening them, or making the human society more vulnerable to them. If after knowing all of these we still ask ,why does God allow Satan to have so much influence? The answer goes back to the dawn of human history, when our first parent rebelled against God as ruler.

Most of mankind has followed that course ever since that choice,the rejection of the rule of God,has placed the world of mankind in the hands of Gods enemy Satan. Jesus thus called Satan the ruler of the world.will Satan rule forever? The answer is No.
Jehovah is not callously indifferent to the suffering that Satan causes,infact God is deeply moved by human suffering, for example when hard times befell the people of isreal,the Bible Say's of God that during all their distress,it was distressing to him.
Mercifully, God has arranged to bring the cruel rule of Satan to an end. Soon! He has appointed his son Jesus Christ to be a just and righteous king forever.

How are you involved?
Although Satan's rule has failed to protect humans from natural disasters, Jesus rule will do so. Remember Jesus once acted to protect his disciples during a violent storm,the Bible account Say's he rebuked the wind and said to the sea,hush be quiet, and the wind abated and a great calm set in.

Even the disciples were amazed,and said who really is this that the wind and sea obeyed him? So this gives us confidence and evidence that Jesus will protect all faithful mankind during his rule as king. So next time that thought of God being cruel comes to your mind always remember that.
1.there is a difference between allowing something to happen and causing it.
2.Satan is the ruler of the world for now,not forever
3.God is too loving and perfect to allow us suffer.
4.pain was not part of God's original plan,love on the other hand was. So putting all of this into consideration will show us that God is loving kind and ready to forgive and change the world to a better and perfect one.
