Hello dear steemians, welcome to my blog today. Hope you all are doing good!
I want to share something very important with us. It's about the life we live now here on earth and the impact it has on others. God created everyone of us to be a blessing to others. We were ordained to help others-the poor, disadvsntaged and neglected and underserved in the world around. That is one sure way to live a very meaningful life beyond yourself.
Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up (Galatians 6:9 CEV).
Life is about giving and receiving. However, some people only take, and never give in return. All their lives, they’ve been receiving, but have never been challenged to give. A man could be physically alive in this world, but “dead” because he’s non-functional in his environment. That’s because nobody benefits from his life; he merely exists to balance the ecosystem. Life can be much more meaningful and exciting than that.
A meaningful life is one that has significance in the lives of others. It’s impacting your world positively with the talents, gifts and endowments God has blessed you with. So beginning from where you are, and with what you have, you become relevant to others. You help them meet their needs and solve their problems. This should be your guiding principle in life.
Imagine a nurse who has to treat many sick people in one day; that’s a great opportunity for him or her to live a meaningful life and give other people’s lives a meaning. How? By showing those patients extra love and care; an endeavour that’ll certainly bring them hope and comfort. Another nurse could look down on the job and even despise having to be around so many sick people because she hasn’t learnt what it means to live a meaningful life.
Don’t live as a “grabber” or a taker; give other men’s lives a meaning. That’s what counts. The Bible says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done…” (2 Corinthians 5:10). The Lord will surely reward you for the good you did for others. He’ll always make happen for you what you make happen for others.
@evarich yes very well said.. we should not get to be tired in helping.. we should feel proud to help others..
