FOCAL SCIPTURE
2 CORINTHIANS 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Vs. 18
What we see with our natural senses can only last for a while but will vanish because it is of the physical and has no weight, It is just like the dew which comes in the morning and vanishes away without a trace of it.
Man is primarily a spirit being and the spirit has it inner senses, most people INNER SENSES are not functioning because they don’t know how to use it and have not trained themselves on how to use it. So they can only see and perceive things of the earth that is to say the natural or physical things because they’ve trained themselves on only seeing things with their NATURAL SENSES.
Let us learn from our Spiritual father JESUS CHRIST and ABRAHAM who did not limit their lives only on the natural senses not to limit our lives on only our natural senses because there is more than the human senses can comprehend.
GENESIS 13:14-17
The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. Vs. 14
All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring[a] forever. Vs. 15
I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Vs. 16
Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.” Vs. 17
Abraham used not only is natural senses but also his inner senses and because he was able to train himself not to see
only with his natural senses, he saw more than what the natural senses could see and that was why all he could see with his inner senses was given to him for possessions.
The Lord would have just said, Abraham, the East, West, South and North are all yours for possession use them or tread on them as you wish but no He said "All the land that you see". All the land that your inner senses can stretch to, only those land are yours.
Most times God wants us to use our inner senses to see for ourselves what we want and can see, He wants us to take possession of the things He has given to us through our inner senses and only when we can train ourselves to see beyond the natural senses like Abraham only then can we take possessions of the lands He has given to us.
We cannot see afar off with the natural senses because the natural senses would always be barrier by an unseen wall which makes our sight limited.
We need to stop looking at the things which are obvious to the natural eyes, for such things have no foundation.
See the invisible! Train yourself to see beyond this world, beyond the walls and the barriers. See through the Word. See by the Spirit, see by the inner senses, at the higher level He has placed you and He has given to you.
Jesus Christ whom we as Christians should learn from and emulate His life taught us what it means to see afar off, what it means to see with our inner senses in the book of
HEBREWS 12:1-2
looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He saw beyond just coming to die, He saw the joy set before Him, He saw the glory that would be given to Him, He saw the Hallelujah that would be our song and would be sang to Him.
See beyond the natural, see into the inner.
Let our mind be anointed to see what the ordinary or natural eyes can't see. What we see with our inner senses, the natural man calls it invisible.
Only those who are of the Spirit can see the things of the Spirit.
