The Bible teaches us in the book of Luke chapter 12.4-5 the teaching of Jesus about the fear of God, in these verses Jesus urges his friends not to fear those who
they kill the body, and then nothing else they can do, it teaches them who they really need to fear, they say "fear the one who, after having taken his life, has
power to cast in hell; yes, I say, to this fear "
The fear is usually a feeling of restlessness and fear that causes the need to flee before some person or thing, avoid it or reject it as dangerous or harmful: fear of the unknown
However, when we speak of fear of God it is different, because to fear God is to honor and obey God is to respect his statutes, laws and principles
Jesus was telling his disciples that they should not fear their enemies, whose punishment is only physical and temporary, motivated them to understand that they should only revere God, whose punishment is final and eternal consequences
Fearing God supposes trust, not terror, nothing that happens to his witnesses, not even death, occurs without the providential care of God, who cares even for the smallest details of life
God keeps us according to his plans for each of us and the enemy can not touch our soul, we can get sick, have tribulations, problems but our soul can only be touched by God who is the giver of life and belongs to him
That is why we should focus our life on God and take care of our salvation
We must testify of God in every place without fear, because God has our lives in his hands and not a hair of our head touch us if he did not give the order before
Great our savior
The only thing that should be feared is the one who can kill the soul
