THE MINISTRY OF GIVING -PART 1 >THE PRINCIPLE OF GIVING>

in steemchurch •  6 years ago

It has been the grace of God that we are also counted among the living in this new month of July and I thank God for showering his everlasting grace upon our one and only founder of #steemchurch, @sirknight.

This month I will be treating the subject on GIVING and by the time I will end this topic, you my audience will be blessed and be equipped to do beyond what you are doing now in terms of giving.

First and foremost, I would like to lay the emphasis that giving is a ministry on its own.

Thus, just as we have the five- fold ministries in the bible, (Ephesians 4:11), so does Giving is also a separate ministry on its own. As such, we must treat and practice this ministry with all seriousness as the others.

Secondly, Giving is a command from God and He expects everbody to obey this command especially Christians.

But just as not all men can and would obey the Lords commands, so also not all people will give to others as it is expected of them.

But as Christians, God has called each and every one of us into the ministry of giving and we must give unto others because it is our Christian duties.

All the five-fold ministries spelt out by Paul in the book of Ephesians have their principles that govern them and Giving is no exception.

Today I am discussing the principle of giving and it is very simple.

PRINCIPLE OF GIVING

Luke 6:38 (NLT)

"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full-pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap.
The amount you give will determine the amount you get back".

The above scripture implies that Giving is a mutual affair. Thus whenever you give you get what you gave back.
Which means that if you do not give, you do not receive.

But there is a secret encoded in this principle of Giving. And that is you get more than what you give.

WHY?

Yes, from the verse we read above, it has been written categorically that your gift will return to you but take note that something would be done or added to what you gave.

'When you give, you get more than what you gave'.

That is why people who give their money, properties, wealth, love, time etc to others, end up getting more than they released

4 THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU GIVE

Anytime you give, spiritually, God does four things to the commodity that you gave out, and irrespective of how small you give, these four secrets encoded in the principle of giving is automatically activated.

That is why the bible said the amount you give will determine the amount that you get.
This means that you do not get the same amount you give but you get more than what you give, not less.
Therefore the additional value you get to your principal value is directly equal to the volume you give out.
So when you give more, this additional interest would be more whiles when you give less, your added interest would be less.

So you will notice that they that give always receives more than those who do not give at all.

I therefore urge you to be part of this ministry of giving and one thing I can assure you is that, you will never never lack.

If you want to receive more then you have to give more. Do not be afraid to give more to others, not only in cash but in kind as well.

Now the four things that happen to whatever you give are as follows.

First of all, what you give will be pressed down. In other words your gift would receive additional value. It will be heavier than what you gave out. God will press it down so that there would be a space for top up.

'God always gives you a top-up whenever you give something to someone '.

Secondly, He shakes your gift to make sure that you get enough of what you have given. Which implies that anytime you give, God fill every area of your need, whether financial or material needs.

Furthermore, you get abundance of whatever you give to others. When you give financially, your finances exceeds their limit. You always get in excess of what you give.

Finally, God pours down a blessings upon you that accompanies you wherever you go. He is pouring all these on you so that you can always have the liberty to give more.

Beloved, giving is a ministry and God has called us all into this ministry so that he can bless us abundantly.

God will always bless our leader #sirknight because of this ministry he is doing for people like us on steemchurch and I will encourage you as well to also give a little to support others especially the poor and needy.

I think that I will use this medium to commend #sc-g for taking the ministry of giving seriously that they have decided to give a little of their tokens to support the needy students in deprived areas.

God richly bless them for doing so and I strongly believe that the principle of giving would be activated upon their lives.
This is some of the things that #sirknight experts from us.

I hope that you have been blessed by today's lesson and I urge you to keep reading because the next episodes of this topic will help you alot.

Giving is a blessing! We were designed to share and give with love and joy. God bless you

I do not know if it's the same with you, when you give with generosity you feel a sense of excitement when the person who is receiving surprises you or likes what you are giving them, it feels good to give.

Exactly my bro. You even feel relieved that u have been able to bless someone

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give
