Ministers having AUTHORITY and DOMINION

In Luke 9:1-2, the Scripture says, Jesus “called his twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick”. Just like Jesus called his disciples, He has also called Christians today to be his ministers and fortified us with authority and dominion over all devils and to cure diseases. Our assignment is to preach the Gospel and heal the sick.
Jesus has commissioned us with the great mandate of spreading the Gospel worldwide and has delegated His authority to us as we go about this task (Mark 16: 15-18). We are not going alone, His authority is with us. He told us in Matthew 18:18; “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”. What a privilege to have Christ’s authority delegated, committed and conferred on you as a Christian! No doubt, this is the indispensable and most effective tool needed to accomplish the work the Lord has called you to do.
Now that you know your position and authority in Christ, never allow the devil cheat you anymore. You don’t have to be at the mercy of sickness and problems any longer. Make up your mind to confront the devil by using your authority and dominion in the name of Jesus Christ. As a Christian, whenever you “decree a thing… it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways” (Job 22: 28).
Take dominion and possess your possessions through the name –Jesus. Enough of all the oppressions, afflictions and hindrances towards Gospel dissemination; use your authority. Don’t be apologetic to Satan anymore because now you have authority and dominion in Christ. rise up, manifest your authority as a minister and begin to enjoy your victory.
Begin to reclaim what you have lost in time past because authority and dominion are now yours. You have been given authority in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is a strong weapon to defeat the devil and any unpleasant situations that may come your way. Set yourself loose from the bondage of confusion, fear, sickness, emotional hurt, financial debt, etc. by using your authority. The same authority that Jesus had over the storm, evil spirits, sicknesses, diseases and even death is now yours to use.
However, if you are not a Christian, you are at the mercy of the devil and he can use you to do whatever pleases him because there is no protection over your life. But you can run to God today by accepting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, only then will He confer on you the same authority he has given to His children and you will be totally free from the devil’s machinations and onslaughts.
