Look at the past

"How hard is it to come back and face my past, so many mistakes have I eaten, but still you love me ..."

Sometimes we look at our past and feel so embarrassed. We see our mistakes and failures and it makes you want to do like an ostrich, put your head in a hole in the ground. Facing our failures, past or present, is not easy, and in the vast majority of the time it hurts, it hurts like a cut in our flesh.

Each of our actions has its consequences, that is done, if it is no longer enough to face the mistakes, doing everything possible to remain standing, we have to live with the effects provoked by them. The Word of God is very clear in emphasizing that God is God of love, and with certainty He is. He is a loving Father, with unconditional love, that, no matter how much we are sinners, He still loves us. His arms are always extended to receive us back when we really repent. His heart is not hard like ours. He forgives us and does not remember our past.

This same God is a just God, and it would be unjust if he let our acts pass in vain. Even with a forgiving heart he says: "Son you will err, the consequences will come, I forgive you, you will receive with open arms, and in so much pain that you will face I will be by your side, that gives you strength to endure and pass through this valley"

God does not leave us touched to his own devices, wrapped only in our suffering. He is saddened by our mistakes, he does not turn his back and leaves us alone. In times of pain, in struggles, in adversities He is at our side, giving us a new breath of life, holding in our hands and guiding our steps.

"It happens with you, it happens with someone, it happens with whom the devil wants to try, do not condemn the oppressed, or say it is punishment, be holy in the eyes, do not dare to judge, only God knows everything and can pronounce, but, be a warrior man of courage ... "2

I think it is as painful as bearing the consequences of our weaknesses, to have to endure petty people with stones in their hands, who instead of helping are pointing to mistakes. Many twist so that you fall even more, the more suffering, the happier.

The worst of all is that the people who condemn are those who should extend their hands, who know the love of God, but, unfortunately, these are the first to turn their backs. Open your mouth only to judge, cursing and mocking the pain of others. "We usually hear:" That the hand of God falls on him ... "," I think it's little, so-and-so is not a believer ... "," That's for learning "... And that's where the kids go. Evangelicals of the "brothers in Christ." It is difficult even to hear: "May God have mercy ...", "I hope that he will stand and continue ...", "I will see what I can help ... "

People forget that there is no size for sin, that the only difference is in the consequence. These attitudes are also sin, and their effects will come in the same way. They forget above all that they are also humans susceptible to failure. "I do not ...", "I am a true believer ...".

If after the desert the person is able to relocate, to put the life in the Altar the comments do not stop. Those who judged are the same as doubting the power of God, which he held all the time. "Ah, let's see how far it goes ..." "It's a matter of time before it falls again ..."

Only God can judge, and that same God has all power to justify and transform lives. His Power is infinite, capable of moving earth, sky, sea and hell, if necessary. Regardless of the size of the error, of the failures, He is the God of the impossible. The greater the fall, the greater will be the act of God. He transforms the sinner into a man of honor and courage, only He is capable of such a great change.

We need to learn not to judge people. Change judgments for love. Putting aside all our selfishness and living according to Christ commands us: "Love your neighbor as yourself, and, your God above all things," there is no greater commandment than this, nor does he need it. Who loves care, does not mistreat.
If it were not the mercy of God what would be of us? We sinned all the time, we missed too much. If God used only his justice where would we be?

"Where sin abounded, My Grace overflowed, I offer you greater love of the world, then, you are my image ..." 3

God transforms! God changes! God corrects! And, above all, God loves!

He looks at us and says: "Son, you were wrong, but I love you and I will justify you." God abhors sin, because it distances us from Him, but He loves the sinner. We are beloved children and we have the right to the Father's inheritance. That inheritance is not on Earth, it is not a good, money, status or fame, it will be ours by right the celestial dwellings.
May we truly live the love of Christ, and when we see our neighbor in suffering, even if provoked by his own hands, may our hearts be filled with compassion. May our hands be stretched out to help, and may our mouth stop murmuring and come to bless.

Let's live the love. God is love!
