Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have shown us through His example and His teachings that work is as important in heaven as it is on earth. God worked to create the heavens and the earth; He caused the seas to be grouped together in one place and the dry earth to appear; he made the grass, the herbs and the trees grow on the earth; formed the sun, the moon and the stars; he created all the marine and terrestrial living beings and, finally, he placed Adam and Eve on earth to take care of her and to have dominion over all living beings.
