Soucer

She woke up in the morning, it was past 8, she realized that the light had gone but the room was cool, despite being totally wrapped up; She slept and wrapped herself completely, from her feet to her head, the light in the morning woke her up, so she wrapped herself completely to sleep a bit more, the insects bothered her a lot and that displeased her, she had a warm blood, that's why the sancudos followed her. She had read that article on the internet for a long time, she found it interesting because she had that problem with the mosquitoes, for that reason she was also totally wrapped up.
The electricity was failing considerably, it had been three days since he left frequently, two or three times a day. I did not know what the reason was. There was no information about the reason for this problem.

When the light goes out, there seems to be nothing to do in the house.

Do not turn on the TV, do not turn on the radio, you can not bathe, do not use the microwave or sandbox, the rooms are dark. Everything depends on electricity.

She did not bathe because the water pump does not work without electricity, she brushed herself, she put on her clothes, unlike the other women, she did not put on a robe or a nightgown, she wore jeans, black, patched. Those pants that are already very old but serve to do the trades of the house.

She also wore a sleeveless blouse, a beach blouse that today served to be at home. It was already very used, but of very good quality, of those times, still in very good condition. I prepare breakfast: a small arepa, a fried egg and two lentil croquettes. He prepared a tea with several plants that he grows in the back of the house.

I was eating many lentil croquettes, because of the situation of economic blockade that the country is going through, the government imports food and prepares a few boxes with several rubles to sell to the whole population through the communal councils, a box of food per family, these boxes cost very cheap compared to the prices of merchants.

They are accessible to the population and it brings the products that people need like rice, spaghetti, corn flour to make the arepas, but this flour is Brazilian, it is not good and you can not make the normal arepas that the Venezuelan population.

You can hardly buy meats; if you buy meat, they do not eat fried, they are stewed with vegetables, so they yield more. You have to stretch the meals. With the sauces you eat the rice or the fried foods.

The box, too, brings a liter of oil, people usually eat a lot of fried fish, fried plantain, fried arepa, fried vegetables.
Some boxes bring lentils, this has been new for Venezuelans living in the east of the country, since they are not used to eating this type of grain; but they learned to eat them with this crisis: parboiled, in soups, stewed and in croquettes; The croquettes are wonderful and can be eaten as meatballs or alone, at breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The box brings milk, sometimes it brings sugar. The first boxes brought tomato sauces, mayonnaise, canned, beans, beans, canned sardines, in varying quantities.

The boxes had to arrive every month, but this is not the case. It may take up to three months. The situation gets worse and people suffer. People manage to prepare strange foods that they were not used to, like vegetable soups. Venezuelan soups are very substantial and were made with beef, pork, chicken, chickens, fish, but never soups of vegetables, vegetables or grains without the corresponding food.

The crisis changed the Venezuelan diet, clothing, footwear, parties, celebrations.

She thinks that the economic crisis in the country ruined their lives and that of their children.

Christmas is already becoming normal days where people watch television. This in Venezuela never happened, however poor a Venezuelan, because sharing was the meaning of Christmas and that was what was done, families visited and grouped in this time, they came and shared what much or what little they had. Traveling was a pleasure to meet with their families.

She thinks about that, she is thinking that this Christmas she does not want to watch television, that she wants to share, but she is not animated, she feels sorry for not being able to buy anything to release. You can not buy anything from your children. Prices rose exorbitantly after the increase of the minimum wage, the salary rose by 250% and therefore, all products and goods are increased above that percentage, then, the increase distorts reality.

Everything becomes unreal. It seems a bad story becoming a reality.

Despair is present, an event has already happened, two events and he endured it, he accepted it, but the reality that is lived continues, continues to overwhelm the days of Venezuelans.

There are no longer normal days, it seems that all are bad days, then clings to heaven and seeks God, calls and can not find it, shouts and does not listen.

He clings to him again, asks again for support, hopes, strength to continue to overcome such a sad and agonizing situation. Keep looking at the sky, with arms outstretched as if wanting to catch that God who does not see, and with desperation is looking.

SHE KNOWS HE IS THERE, SHE KNOWS HE WILL HEAR, SHE KNOWS HE WILL NOT LET HER FALL.

SHE TRUST IN HIM, HE IS HIS HOPE.
