Graphics design is intriguing and really fascinating to me lately. I designed this logo of @steemchurch. Thank you @sirknight, @abiye and other wonderful Steemians blogging via the #steemchurch and other Christian tags.

PENTECOST

The day of Pentecost is marked in the Christian Church as the day on which the spirit descended upon the apostles and on which under Peter's preaching, thousands were converted in Jerusalem (Acts 2).
In Christendom, Pentecost is a special day that commemorate the coming of the Holy Spirit on the early followers of Jesus. Prior to the events of the first Pentecost, which came few weeks after Jesus' death and resurrection, there were of course some followers of Jesus Christ but no body was meaningfully termed "Church". Apparently, from a historical view point, Pentecost is the day on which the Church was started. This still holds a true perspective from a spiritual view. Since the spirit brings the church into existence and enlivens it...Pentecost is perhaps, the Church's birthday.
Pentecost was accompanied by speaking in tongues which still holds affirmative response in today's Church too.
Pentecost presents us with an opportunity to consider how we live daily.

PERTINENT QUESTIONS TO ASK DURING PENTECOST
Are we relying on the power of God's Spirit?
Are we an open channel or source for the holy spirit's gifts?
Are we attentive to the guidance of the Holy spirit?
Is the fruit of the holy spirit (love, joy and peace) growing in our lives?

I had an awesome experience today at Church until I returned home.
My Dad fell ill and really got us worried. I pray the power of the holy spirit descends upon him and perfect his health. Amen!

It is truly awesome spending some quality time in the house of the Lord.
Jesus gave us succulent and great fruits of the holy spirit

Love
Joy and
Peace

Pentecost was an holiday in the early church. Apparently, today is an holiday which is great for us to ponder on the scripture and allow the holy spirit work in our lives.

Jesus meant our trials, tribulations and sufferings are finished when he said

It is finished

Christians should begin each day invoking the Holy Spirit, praying that the Spirit will lead them and the Church closer to God and closer to any person in need. Christians should ask the Holy Spirit to blow upon us, blow into our hearts and make us breathe forth the tenderness of the Father! Blow upon the Church and impel her to the ends of the earth.

You very correct!

The design is simple and beautiful. Thanks @mickyscofield ...

Always at the moment we awaken to thank the Father and ask Him to be He in us and that where one goes to enlighten people with his grace is more is to put God first in our hearts so that everything we do is a blessing, for Certain beautiful logo you have talent. GRACES FOR COMPATIR
