Greeting steemians from the throne of grace. How are we doing, hope we are fine as usual.
Today we will be talking on God's word, which i titled The Word Of God Keeps Us From Sin, and our text will be taken from Psalm 119:133
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Discussion
A young lady dashed out of the house one morning and forgot to study the word. On getting to her destination, she had an encounter with someone that resulted to a quarrel and immediately after the incident she became very ashamed of herself for behaving the way she did because she was a believer. On getting home, she took up her Bible to read the scriptures she failed to read in the morning and guess what! The focus was on gentleness and self control.
Beloved, God has prepared a word to take care of our daily activities even before we see that day but we would err if we fail to meditate on it. King David in our text today prays that God should order his steps in His word and iniquity will not have dominion in his life. The word truly keeps us from sin.
Meditation: Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I pray may the good Lord see this message through our heart, Amen.
