Happy Mother's Day: The value of mother for God.

I wish you happy Mother's Day to all the women of the community of @steemit, especially the woman who gave life, I express my greatest gratitude and love for being so special and show immense love to your daughters. I love you my Mother, so I take this day to reflect on the value of women for God.

From the beginning, God created man and woman in his image with the responsibility to populate the earth and rule over it (Genesis 1: 27-28). The Bible says: "He created them, men and women, and blessed them" (Genesis 5.2).

The gospel stories present many ideas about the value women have in the eyes of Jesus, emphasizing their great respect for them as essential members of the kingdom of God.

On the way to his crucifixion, Christ addressed the women of Jerusalem in his final word to the crowd. Then, on the cross, suffering a deep agony, he entrusted his mother Mary to the care of his beloved disciple John. After his resurrection from the dead, the first person to whom Jesus revealed himself was Mary Magdalene, a woman whom he had freed from satanic bondage (John 20-10-18).

It is true that interpreters of the Bible and churches vary in their understanding of the appropriate leadership role of women in the Church and in their homes. However, in the eyes of God, men and women are equal.

The devaluation of women throughout history is the result of sin in the world. Wherever the gospel has gone, the status of the woman has been elevated. Through Christ, women have had the opportunity to live a creative, productive and satisfying life. This transformation has resulted in significant contributions from women in areas such as social and political reform, medicine, literature, arts and sciences, and Christian service and missions.

Furthermore, if we look at the situation in the world, it is in societies that reject the Gospel that women are the most oppressed.

With regard to original sin, the Bible also makes it clear that both women and men have the same responsibility for their rebellion against God; Both must be forgiven and reconciled with God. And this is possible because Jesus Christ came to redeem us, men and women, by His sacrifice in the cross.
